This vlog covers our last week and of half of summer before having to go back to school.
We reviewed some of the SHEIN crap (eek) we ordered, let Kenzie sit on Bryan's lap in an empty parking lot and try driving a car for the first time ever, spent several days at the lake, Kenzie had her end of season Volleyball tournament, made Dad's yummy caramel corn recipe with him, and finally finished all of our back to school shopping!

I wish I could find a decent anklet that fits. I got a couple from Torrid but they are very poorly made
The one from SHEIN would prob be a good fit! You can make it tighter or looser on the chain which I love.

You guys really do have the cutest family. Like I said last time it really brings some joy to my day, love the vlogs. Off topic, I have a strange question. The other day I was on Instagram and I saw an article about a Realtor in North Texas who is helping gay couples and gay families escape Texas to safe cities or safe states. I was born in Fort Worth on Carswell Airforce base but grew up in The Woodlands/Conroe, Texas. I know Texas has always been unfriendly to us but I was shocked that it could be that bad there. So is it really that bad in Texas? Most of my gay friends no longer live in Texas but no one ever mentioned anything like this. Growing up in the Houston area there was always pockets of safety and mostly people left you alone. But Dallas when I was younger was a safe place for gays. To think things may have changed makes me sad. By the way, it was so cute to Kenzie learning to drive. I wish my parents had taught me in a Mall parking lot. Instead they made me learn on I-45 and the feeder roads lol!

We are just north of Dallas and our city feels very safe, diverse and accepting (thank god) but that breaks my heart that some don’t have that security we feel here. I’ve been all over Texas and have felt very nervous in certain areas so I totally sympathize. One day we hope to be living in a different state. Hope you had a great weekend! ❤️❤️
