Hi Mike, Austria is like the UK in many ways, especially when it comes to a love of railways and museums. I enjoyed your trip down to Watchet Harbour, it's still beautiful, even after a storm.

Good afternoon Tim! One nice video after another. The funniest was at minute 4:40. A squirrel crosses the tracks. I have a couple of these cute animals in the garden every October. The reason is because I have three hazelnut trees. They then regularly clear the trees and none of them remain with me. It's so funny. Haha. As always, I'm waiting for the next video. Greetings Hans.

Hello Hans, I'm pleased you enjoyed the video. I love squirrels, I have a family of them in my garden, they steal peanuts from the bird feeder, I love watching them, they are comical. Tim.

Hallo, ik ben blij dat je genoten hebt van de rit. Het werd gefilmd in februari, ik had geluk dat het niet sneeuwde. Tim 😉

Because the chicken couldn't make it. She had a prior appointment with Colonel Sanders. ;)

Tim, have you got footage of dual, or even better triple, gauge? I’m fascinated by how they do points and crossing work. BTW, I was your driver in NZ fot the Otira tunnel section. 🖖

Hi, its nice to hear from you again, I rode the TranzAlpine and Coastal Pacific again in 2019, although I'd arranged to place a camera in the cab for both trips before I left England, I was defeated by a Health and Safety guy on the day, such a shame, it would have been nice to compare the coastal trip before and after the quake, also the latest cameras cope with the vibration from the diesels. I still had a great time in New Zealand, its a wonderful country. Your snow plough video is still one of the best on the internet. There are a few places in the world where dual and even triple gauge can be seen, although once common on the Denver and Rio Grande it has almost disappeared with the demise of that once iconic railroad.
Triple gauge can be found in northern Spain where standard, broad and metre gauge come together in places like Oviedo. Dual gauge can be found in Switzerland where standard gauge industrial lines are superimposed on the metre gauge network to reach industrial complexes. India still has some mixed gauge lines although they a disappearing fast. Melbourne, Australia has sections of dual gauge track as does Brisbane. Dual gauge can also be found along the border between Russia, the Ukraine and the country's of the EU. Park railways can often be multi gauge such as this one near my home - th-cam.com/video/000S8gSUYbo/w-d-xo.html This railway near Denver, Colorado has some dual gauge track - th-cam.com/video/oSMjB1Q_Teg/w-d-xo.html look around 6minutes 30 seconds. Are you still driving and how did the quake effect railway operations? I recorded this video in 2019 showing the extent of the damage caused by the Kaikoura Quake - th-cam.com/video/YEcuRtDXKzM/w-d-xo.html It's good to hear from you. Take care. Tim

1912 electric railcar, predates our NSW(Australia) "Tin Hare" diesel-powered rail motors by 11 years. Could be considered distant cousins!
