This looks fun, been meaning to go around Miami with friends and am grateful to watch this now I have more ideas of where to go. Great to see you all enjoyed that trip. I've never been to Miami before even though I've been to Florida 3 times in my life. I'd feel more motivated to visit if I knew enough people there. If you all return to Florida I hope you all enjoy a trip to Orlando next if you all haven't gone there yet since it's the most exciting city in the US in my opinion. Please make sure you don't go during hurricane season in August and September.

Just Miami Beach by the hotels
There are 3 sections of beach in Miami. North, Mid and South Beach. North has more high rises, Mid Beach is quieter with more families, and South Beach is the busiest and where most of the action is. It's all the same stretch of beach.
Do you have to pay to access the beach by the hotel? :)

Mojitos! There is a huge Cuban population in Miami, the the Mojitos are delicious. Just be warned, if you order a mojito from one of the beach routes be prepared for a messy day- they are lethal!!!
