Why are these commentators or tale tellers, so bad at keeping your attention? There is very little to keep the attention and imagination of of the listeners. Shame, as this is the skill and talent of the true story tellers. Not the story, which may be new or old, but the ability of the teller to grab the listeners attention and take them on a journey of imagination. Not just grind out the tale in a monosyllabic monotone .
