- Another major competitive Kirby Air Ride tournament has taken place! The City Trial mode from the GameCube game Kirby Air Ride, gets people on their edge of their seats every time. This game can be a huge spectacle and it shows. Enjoy.

Not only is this game very fun to play multiplayer, it is also very fun to watch.
Via Netplay, the game can be played online with a controller on the computer via a special Dolphin Emulator build optimized for Kirby Air Ride Online. Matches are played in the Kirby Air Ride Netplay Discord community.
Players had their own fullscreen when they were playing, and weren't able to see their opponents screen.
Matches are played on the Hackpack of UnclePunch, to enhance the competitiveness with extra settings, more Kirby colors and QoL features. For example, rear view is added when pressing the X button. And the Item Frequency has been set to High, suiting the modern competitive Kirby Air Ride ruleset. Also certain Stadiums and Events were disabled, like Vs King Dedede.
Apart from that, things are basically the same as vanilla Kirby Air Ride.
I don't understand the mentality of banning game modes because of glitches/exploits. Why not just make a list of banned glitches/exploits? Or just patch them out with whatever mod client you're using?

Yeah some people already mentioned this, but it really bothers me that they banned air grinding games because of the A button glitch. Is it really so hard to ask participants not to use it? It's not like you accidentally make that glitch happen.

This is the most stressful single race I have ever done.
Just out of curiosity, would it not be better for them to just say if the mini game is “Air Glider” and someone’s on bulk star that they simply aren’t allowed to use the glitch?
In a competitive tournament, it's really hard to tell players "i know we told you to play optimally, but in this ONE situation we forbid you from playing optimally because this is where we draw the line".
It's like telling a smash player to not timer stall, or telling a Pokemon player to not use OU/ubers Pokemon
I think its fair to say "we know what this glitch looks like, and if you are tapping A during Air Glider you are disqualified"

I miss air glider or the game mode with the number s whoever get the highest wins. Don’t get me wrong I love me some destruction and drag but I wanna see some diversity if possible
