The thing I like about Drew Carey is that when the contest wins, he sends them over to see their prize.
They didn't do it back then because it would reveal the prizes being staged for the next games/showcases. Now they have curtains between the doors, so it's not a big deal.
I think Bob was mixed up on the prizes, he said she could win a pair of rockers and a range in addition to the car when we can plainly see it was a dishwasher and a day bed that was offered for prizes.

It seemed that with Bob Barker, when the contestants had one key, it was for the car. However, with Drew Carey, it seems that many pick the Blank Key.

Good things come to those who wait
It’s interesting they play the same sound effect (the triple beep-beep-beep) sound that usually goes off when someone wins money (in this case it was a car). For example, when getting the $10,000 card on Punch-A-Bunch or I think they played it when someone got $1.00 twice in a row on the big wheel OR the Grand Game when someone gets the $10,000 prize.

Interesting that they played clangs and whoops for a car win in this game. Tonight is the final night of fresh episodes from season 14. We're coming to the end of the Olson era.

Why did the bells & whoops sound go off on a cheap car win?
The plain buzzer effect or the french horn effect means loss the whoomph and bell ringing meant the contestant won

This was the Early ‘80’s. Most households barely owned one car.
But it was more of a gift for her husband. Hardly any women drove back then. The Roads Were A Lot Safer!!!!!

That car was not a very reliable model. Hope they traded it in for something much better. Even if they had any car from that time would not be running today.
I don’t think Donna liked the screen she won to get up to Master Key too well. Just look at the disgusted look and eye roll on her face after she was asked to bid.
