    Whip is great. Easy enough to teach and like you said in the video it's sound and pretty good vs almost everything. I love this vs Empty

    I feel like a lot of TFL highlight videos that play when an off-ball linebacker gets drafted are this play- Linebacker blitzing from away from the the run direction.

    Great video. By any chance do you have any clips of “palms” coverage being played??

    You should post the pop up clinics if you ever run out of videos to share

    Awesome breakdown!! Must have taken you days to find and cut all these clips!

      it took me a loooong time! It's part of the reason I slowed down on these - they were taking too long!

      @@CoachVassFootball Haha, understandable! Although I think the amount of clips could be cut down and shown twice, since you explain what's happening and if somebody wants to watch that piece of it in particular, they have to go back for it anyways.
      Would be very interested in some effective base-down blitzes vs. the run and approaches against bunch sets (in- & outing, boxing it, etc.)!

    Could you do a film breakdown on Nick Sabans pattern matching coverages? Things like “stubbie” and even rip/Liz match are really hard to understand.

    • @LabourOfTheNegative
      @LabourOfTheNegative 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Stubbie is man to man unless the number 3 receiver runs to the flat then the nickel takes him and the safety to that side has the number 2 receiver man to man

      @CoachVassFootball  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I will do a video on Stubbie, next!

    No debating. Bill Arnsparger did it first. Describes it in detail in his book. Best Defensive football book that Ive ever read.

    Is it true that some teams let their pash rushers call stunts?

    • @CoachVassFootball
      @CoachVassFootball  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes! Usually at the pro levels. In the Patriots video I did, I show how the Pats let their guys call some of their 5-man pressure paths.

      @@CoachVassFootball Is it by formation or down and distance? I think I heard Steve Spagnolo say that they let their pash rushers have the freedom to stunt sometimes but he didn’t want to give away what would make him call it.
