The Swytch kit is good and easy to fit although sensor mountin position isn't clear in the instructions, a 3d printed mount is available off ebay and makes fitting and setting easier. Just fit the A-Line with mudguards and luggage block, the new lightweight quick release pedals from Brompton are very good. Have fun, thanks for watching and your comment
I just received my Brompton A Line folding bike on 09.22.23 from UPS. Today is Sunday and I am just getting around to opening the box. I have a question about this plastic black tube that comes in the box. What is the purpose of this black tube? My Brompton bike came with some small scratches on the tube just pass the A line emblem. This is just a minor problem that I should be able to fix myself. I will have to get use to not peddling when shifting gears.
Congratulations on your new A-Line The black plastic tube is an insert so you can cut to length then it sets the seat height to the same place, there are videos on TH-cam that show how to it fits. Sorry you have some scratches on the top tube, it may be worth emailing Brompton with a photo so they are aware. Have great times with it
Good comment about setting up an account. I tried to buy a Brompton on line about three weeks ago as a guest. Started on the Thursday and by Monday saw all the bikes I wanted sell out, just wouldn't accept my payment. Brompton will not accept payment over the phone. However hopefully I will have a happy ending as I have been able to order a bike through a dealer and get the colour and speciation I want. If all goes to plan I should get my bike at the end of this month.

Easy, but I gear my bikes to suit me and my local conditions, it has been fitted with a 15T rear sprocket and I sometimes fit a 39T chainring, it's a 5 minute job to do!
Yes it is well suited, I am 5'8" with a 31" inside leg measurement, riding with the correct leg position (almost straight) I have over 2" more length movement with the seat post, with the M handle bar it is a very comfortable riding position.

Not too many! Over the years it's been quite an inexpensive really and unlike many hobbies running costs are minimal and residual values are very healthy. Thanks for your msg and for watching

I'm going to buy this using the cycle to work scheme and I'm going to upgrade the parts so it looks like a C line and put a swytch kit on it

A Line is the new term to the B75 is it ? seems like all the equipment similar to the old B75
I know Brompton made this line cheaper by removing what the other Bromptons had as standard but taking the tool kit away was very disappointing.

Yes, all Brompton frames are the same other than the super light which has titanium forks and rear triangle
