Thank you for doing this. I've been wanting to try out M1 Finance and your tutorial is the most helpful out of them all, even their own tutorials lol. I appreciate this and all that you do.
The best thing about this app is how the dividends are reinvested. I like that my value stock dividends can reinvest back into your entire portfolio. Usually dividends just get cashed back to you (which is dead money unless you manually reinvest), or it gets invested back into the company, which is usually dead money anyways since the dividend usually offsets its lack of growth.
Thank you for this and many others. One thing I regret is that after viewing a previous M1 video of yours, I subscribed to them later on with another device, completely forgoting about your link... my bad.
The trading window is the biggest turn-off about M1. You also have to pay $125 for a second trading window, but you cant even use both trading windows in one day. You miss dips if you wanted to add, you miss highs if you want to sell. Really like the pie concept though.
This is why I view it's best usefulness for IRAs. Someone in their 20s can automate their retirement investing and focus on their career and social life. Regardless if someone is putting in $100 or $500 per month.
Watching the growth of stocks and financial assets in few years, everyone should start investing pronto even with the dip cause of the surprise in stock rising!
Unfortunately there's many more metrics and stats to research as part of due diligence than just market cap, div yield, and P/E Ratio. The lackluster research capabilities are why I moved from M1 to Schwab and it looks like nothing improved.
M1 finance making it really difficult to fund the thing. That Plaid didn't work at all, and the manual transfer is still pending a week later. Haven't had any success getting a hold of a real person, not just the chat bot, to assist.
Dude. His last few videos . . . Let's just say this. I have a son about his age and if his appearance went from A to B like Ryan's has in the last year, I'd be genuinely worried.

M1 Finance is great for IRA investing. A person can even create their own ETFs.

Damn this channel really dropped off huh
How so? Should I take advice from this guy? Because to be honest, his videos just feel like long advertisements for broker apps.
