He got hit on that play that’s why it sailed, but if Saquan catches that pass or the defense actually tries to stop someone then this wouldn’t even be a conversation because Hurts played well.

Eagles did everything they needed to do to win, except catch the easiest pass ever. And we are destroying the team for it. Keep in mind, they played that game WITHOUT AJ Brown... Imagine how much of a slaughter that game would have been if AJ Brown was playing... They will be fine win or lose against the Saints cause Frankly, the Saint may be a top 5 team in the NFL.

To be fair, have you seen the Rams lately?
Think about it. They literally lost arguably the best wide receiver tandem in the league. So we’re talking about a month of being without your top play makers compared to yall one guy. But I digress

The Dome will be super loud, Eagles cant tackle, Eagles cant pressure the QB, Eagles cant stop run.

stop talking about the drop, it was a dumb call, end of story..... and if they were gonna go for the throat with a 3rd down pass, then GO FOR IT ON 4TH.... taking that FG was literally worst case scenario.... if they missed the 4th down conversion, then the Falcons have to drive 60 yards for a tying FG but *instead* they went up 6, kick a touchback to put them at the 30, so it's 70 yards for the WIN with 90 seconds in 4 down territory instead of 60 yards for the TIE in 50 seconds.... this is the same concept as the 49ers kicking off to start overtime in the Super Bowl, just completely inarguable strategic mismanagement
No. Going for it on 4th down would've been nice, but they wouldn't have even been put in that situation if Barkley caught the pass. They were not tryna risk coming away with no points after the drop.

How can anyone say the Eagles/Siriani made the right decision. You don't pass. If you do pass and it's incomplete, you don't kick a field goal. Those decisions clearly lowered the Eagles' chance of winning. He then allowed Fangio play prevent. It was a complete disaster from a coaching perspective. Yes, players need to execute, but coaches need to put the players in the best positions to execute and win. They didn't.

I think the point Bart was making at the end was it's too early to need your QB to have to make in impassioned speech, not that he shouldn't be the one doing it. What if they need another speech in 3 weeks, then another in 6 weeks? It's gonna seem corny and played out, not agreeing or disagreeing, just how I interpreted it.

Situational awareness he went for it on 4th down twice early in the game after Saquon dropped the ball on 3rd why not go for it on 4th down ? If you don’t convert you make them have to go 90+ yards to win instead they went 70 yards

By kicking a field Goal the Eagles went up by 6 which meant the Falcons needed a touchdown. That pushed their probability of winning to 99.3%. vs.63%... why because now the Falcons at a minimum need a touchdown and can't tie the game and will have to go 70 yards vs.... having to go 47 yards for a game tying field goal.... they wouldn't have needed to go 90+ yards....with a little less than 2 minutes to go... It's all about probabilities

they literally cooked up THE ONE SCENARIO in which the Falcons could POSSIBLY win that game in regulation... woulda been better off staying up 3 with half the time left because then even if the Falcons make plays to get down the field, once they're anywhere NEAR FG range to tie they get ultra safe and protect that field position, so worst case scenario you go to OT
if they were gonna go for the throat on 3rd down with a pass, then GO FOR IT AGAIN ON 4TH, and if you don't get it then the Falcons are playing for a tie in 3 down territory with less time, as opposed to 4 down territory and more time and zero question of needing to protect field position and play for anything less than the WIN
