    Good day, I do enjoy content by George Firican. They are very insightful and helpful. I would be more than grateful if there could be some elaborate content or an intensive training course on Data Quality/Data Quality Management

    When accessing required resources, what time frame should we be thinking: day 61 to 90 or the first year?

    This is great! Any recommendations for how to measure the data quality baseline in the 90 days section? Measuring progress and improvement is one area I struggle with in data quality

    • @LightsOnData
      @LightsOnData  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Brie, I would recommend a quick data profiling. Then you need to have those business rules defined that you can create data quality measures for (completeness, accuracy, consistency, etc.)

    Any software platform recommended to manage DG?

    • @LightsOnData
      @LightsOnData  ปีที่แล้ว

      Great question. It really depends on your data governance needs. There isn't one that does it all very well. So it depends if you're looking more for a data cataloging capability, business glossary, process/policy management, etc.

    Would the DG training provide hands on sample artefacts that could be repurposed in other DG projects by the student?

    In my new organization l am struggling with the analyst team. They have operated in a silo and worked without interference in a non transparent manner. They create DB for customers who can add info, but can’t change anything else. Anyone needing access as to go through them. I have been attempting to implement data governance with maps, catalogs, and business stewardship and ownership of information…so l am the threat to this IT team who believes they should be the sole owner of data maps and tools. Help! Can you do more videos on this IT transition and intervention…this is our main political pain point.

    Less promotion of your own content would be good. At least make it less intrusive.
    Having your face on does not help. Curb your ego and realize focus on the slides is better.
