This is exactly the info I was looking for. Thank you. I Had a hard time remembering what to say while taxing before departure so this video really helped.
Newbies like us tend to get task saturated and hard to remember the right phrases and it is much easier to just copy experienced pilot’s words for different occasions: like pattern work and airport approach. Please also add some a little bit more complicated dialogues:like request different options, holding pattern until base called. By the way, the closed caption in the video is great because voice quality is not solid over radio. Closed caption clears all the ambiguity!
Great video! How did you get those amazing camera angles off the sides of the wings? Doesn't look like the camera is attached at all to the plane! Awesome!
@@FreedomFlight1 It sure does! Love your videos so far - can't wait to see more! I'm just starting to get interested in general aviation and hope I can afford to go for my private pilot's license myself soon.
She nailed it. I remember my training, not as smooth.,,,good best practice is to “role model” this one the GROUND. Not her, she nailed it, but I would like to talk this BEFORE we go up.
Good video and good job Cheyenne. Talking on the radio can be initially intimidating, recommend always talking with confidence. Also, when in controlled airspace, ATC folks are usually pretty helpful to inexperienced pilots. Fly safe…
Hey dude super video have you got any tips for my first test flight I don’t know I just feel kind of anxious and panicky and claustrophobic I mean do you have any tips really love flying I really am a bit worried
Thanks for watching. Just let your flight instructor know that you are anxious (but yet excited). Ask to make your first flight a short one and very basic. I think when you get up in the air you're going to be surprised how calm and relaxing it is and soon all those fears will fade away. Flying in a small plane is an ultimate feeling of freedom. Let me know how it goes!
Hey good question, I just added another link in the video description for you to download. It’s an advisory circular from the FAA that gives us guidance on how to communicate at a non towered airport. Look at section 10.1.1.
Hey thanks for watching. Click on the down arrow at the bottom of the description and it should open up more text, the links are there. I just tried them to make sure they still work! Great books, a must have.

Thanks for watching, I'll certainly be working on more to come.

Thx Ty. It’s an Insta360 One X2 camera on a FlightFlix.net pole. Creates some cool perspectives.

That was my question. Very neat view.
Outstanding Cheyenne !
Thanks Dad, you’re next!
i find talking with ATC is easier than non towered Air Ports. All i have learned out of is Class Delta underneath Bravo space.
I can sometimes agree with that. Especially if you are familiar with towered airport and know what to anticipate. Thx for watching!
thanks man!!! really helpful
Thanks for watching!

"Back Taxi" . . . In Canada we call it "Back Tracking" same difference!
Very true! I fly to Canada periodically with my airline job. “Back Track” actually makes more sense if you ask me. Thx for watching.
Its also called back track in Europe
I have a question about saying Hidden Valley at the end. What was that apart of for the 4 Ws.
