Come along for a relaxing sunrise beach fishing session a couple tailor from the surf then I get out my swellpro fishing drone, fly a bait out a couple hundred meters and it doesn’t take long for line to scream off my reel 🎣😎

Cheers man yeah the swellpro has actually got a really good camera witch I didn’t really expect from a fishing drone so that’s a big win 👍🏻🎣 yeah first light it was beautiful then turned to crap really early as it does 😅🙃 regret not getting a drone bait out earlier but there is always next time 😁🎣

Been a rough year for the weed,had a crack lastnight yanchep managed 4 tailor between patches bloody tough going though
@ that’s where I’m heading in the morning 😅 the weed is so frustrating I’m dying to use the drone as well but it’s just too hard with all the weed. It will be gone soon, surely !! Nice catch hope I can get a couple 😅🤞🏻

Haha yeah man I was about 99% convinced I had a snapper but it just wasn’t to be, I’m sure I’ll get one on the drone when the times right 😎🎣👍🏻 haha yeah there was not another sole in sight Sunday morning place to our selfs haha 🎣👍🏻 wind turned to crap really early but we had our fun 😁
As a new beginner to fishing, could you share a video of what's in your tackle box?
Can do mate 👍🏻🎣 although I think I do it a little differently to most 😅 as I am also lugging around camera gear etc I have about 10 tackle trays in a set of draws in my shed all set up for different styles/species of fishing and I just grab out the one tray per session depending on what I’m fishing for or it all gets too heavy 👍🏻🎣 you would prob be surprised how little I take most sessions haha, manly camera gear and drone 😅 I do want to do a “tackle talk” style video though and I’ll get into that in the near future. Whats your preferred beach rod ? I noticed you used a Penn Prevail once but haven't seen it of late until now, I have a Penn Prevail II 9ft 6 med/heavy paired with a Saragossa 6000 and love it, was thinking of getting the 12ft 6kg -12kg version for beach fishing, nice vid to by the way :)
Hey mate 👋 still have the prevail that’s become my drone rod as well as rock fishing rod the things a big Broom stick so suits those styles of fishing, in my opinion it’s a little heavy for the beach fish I catch 😅 the assassin bluefish I have is a lot lighter and nicer to use can actually feel the fish fight rather then just skull dragging them in. Prevail still a great rod but for my main go-to I’m loving the lighter assassin rod 💪🏼🎣✅ thanks for watching again mate!

Thought a seagull was going to steal ya bait mid-air, crafty things. Got my forklift ticket, but got sore knee again, will drop by when better.

Lil tip I always run 2 baits on the drone rod it's a long as out and battery life can be a factor that way if u miss the first hook up there is a bait there for the second strike, hard work winding them in from 600 on the egg beater but when u get a big strike nothing beats it
Hey mate 👋 that would be sick I haven’t done an overnighter in years, to time poor haha but it would be epic 🥲😅 see I want to run two baits as it makes waaay more sense how ever I’m not to clued up on drone fishing and by what I read/understand you are not allowed two baits if catching/targeting demersals? I want to be 100% certain I can use two baits before I do use two baits as once you post stuff on TH-cam it can get ugly real quick 😅🙃 the rules around it seem a little confusing from what I was reading ?? @rush.gang.fishing Hey mate you are dead right, one bait only for demersals. Thats why i only target 'tailor' when sending multi hook rigs out with the drone
@rush.gang.fishing There u go I just learnt something, your right west coast bio region is 1 bait or lure per line with a Max of 2 lines all other areas 3 baits or lures I just seen a few lads run it on you tube and thought that's how it was done
Cheers boys yeah I wasn’t confident that I could use two baits for demersals so didn’t want to try, using two baits would be ideal but rules are rules and iv got to do the right thing, targeting other species two baits is fine but I think if I then accidentally caught a snapper I’d have to put it back as I film every thing 😅 so one bait per rod per drop it is so I don’t have to put my snapper back 😅🎣👍🏻✅
