How did you guys get upgraded?? Do you pay for them or are they free?
@@xsammyXD they asked. Sometimes (rarely) it happens.
How nice of the lady to change seats so that you could sit together! One time I offered a couple to switch seats with the wife so that they could sit together and the husband told me that he bought her the First Class seat and that was good enough! They were both in aisle seats so it's not like they weren't together. I was in a window seat and I think they were just being polite so that I didn't have to move. I thought it was extremely funny! It never hurts if you're flying alone to switch seats so that a couple can be together. You will make them happy and it's just a kind thing to do. Loved this program. I was so happy for you to get the upgrade! What a difference Business Class makes on a long haul flight!
Some people prefer the aisle seats so they don't have to pass someone to use the toilet .. I think he may have been using humour to show that he's grateful without saying your seat sucks ..so no lol

When I noticed Jess was on the aisle seat I was thinking..if I was next to Steve I'd offer to swap seats ..and that's exactly what they lady did ❤️ ..made me have a huge dumb smile on my face lol even though this was years ago!

Quantas is wonderful. I flew to Australia on my honeymoon & they gave us a complimentary bottle of wine as a gift!!!
Even after all the flights I've been on I STILL haven't managed to nab business class flights. ONE DAY.

Flying to Sydney, then to Santiago (Chile) connecting to Lima (Peru), if you are wondering like me. Then going 34 days on a tour to Peru, Argentina, Bolivia and finally Chile.

Wishing you a fantastic journey! Coincidentally I started in Peru 17 years ago - on the same day! - and I also started with Business! Wait until you come back from all the trails and start longing for this comfort... Have fun in these countries - they offer ample opportunities for ahhhhhh's and woooowwwww's

What a great start of your trip! I think I would lose my mind if I was upgraded to Business or First Class for an International flight, always stuck in Economy. The humane way to fly, 😃 with the extra legroom, a bed, and good food.

Naama Loll I work for an airline so it’s something that I can elect for if it’s open. But otherwise sometimes you can pay for it if they have open seats or if you have status with the airlines reward program.
Watched it 3 times last year,,but I am watching it again :D

Backpacking is hard, luckily my backpack I brought opens up on the side so it opens similar to a suit case but it’s a backpack! It makes everything so much easier 😁

Flying The Nest about the day trip, I know there is a bus for turists in the city centre that lasts all day and I've heard it's really good you can Google it, it's called buenos aires bus
Flying The Nest and some places I recommend are the Palermo lakes (Lagos de Palermo), Puerto Madero, Costanera.. All of those are gorgeous to go on walks or to have a picnic or whatever 😁 If you have anything in particular that you'd like to know ask me !!

Are your frequent flier members I am a member of one world and Qatar emirates never upgraded but I pay for business flights how do you get upgraded do you have to pay or use your frequent flight points
curious - I have flown 20+ times long haul with Qantas and never been upgraded as a platinum and gold FF. Qatar, Emirates, Cathay yes - never Qantas. What's the secret?

I'm flying from Perth to London in December and would like any tips to be upgraded to business please!! We're flying on christmas day, which is the cheapest day to fly in the christmas season so i'm assuming the flight won't be that packed? Any tips please, I wanna lay down and sleep on my long flight too haha!
