I guess you're doing it on purpose Aaron, but the way you usually explain back what you've been told in order to make sure you got it right is great. Awesome interview as always, you're really good at this. Great job both of you! :)
For a long time I was ignoring Turso because I'm not developing for edge. But when I saw lisql for the first time - honestly, lots of the changes to it is what SQLite should have in the core project. And yes, we need more CEOs like this!
I like the commens around some repos being published as open to later find that the server side is closed and that this is not like that, totally amazing work
Awesome talk, I didn't know that they already have worked in ScyllaDB. This year a have the privilege to know Glauber, he's a professional outside of curve, have great ideas, I always see him in good debates. I have been using Libsql these days and the Turso feature to create replicas and synchronize in N times is incredible.
@aarondfrancis I think you may have noticed already, but at least on this video the frame for the cameras was vertically off a few pixels. People like me will notice and engage with your content, but I believe you would want to adjust it, lol
I mean, if you have Premium you’ll only see Aaron’s 5 second plug for his SQLite course. At the end of the day, TH-cams gotta pay the bills - and they load up these long form videos with ads to do so. Not a shill, but if you the money, Premium is one of the best values in streaming.
SQLite doesn't accept open contributions because of licensing. It takes a lot of legal work for them to keep it open for everyone. They also plan to keep it stable until 2050.

Freaking LOVE these latest interviews. Even beyond the interviews, just the positive attitude of Aaron is inspiring in and of itself.
Thank you so much
lol oh wow
Aaron I love how you just let your guests do their thing and talk without unnecessary interruptions.
Perfect
🥰 thank you!

Thank you! Yes I find it helpful to try to recap. It's helpful for me and I have to imagine it's helpful for the audience. Glad to hear you like it 🥰
You both are my heroes, seeing you together talking tech on a deep level is an indescribable experience!

Fantastic on so many levels - thanks!
Great interview! Do you have a timeline of when high performance SQLite will be out?
About 2 weeks from now! 🥶
@@aarondfrancis My man works fast!
Thanks for all your work Aaron. I enjoyed it. Just that this video had too many ads. Far too many. Great video still
I'm not sure what to do about that! I think TH-cam just puts in as many as it wants.
Awesome, another great interview!!
Continuing to crush it.
A little known fact: during the filming of this not-podcast Pekka dropped 69 new features
Turso with flyio using C binding with kore-c with htmx and embedded replicas, wicked fast
Turso is awesome
Are we able to row lock in sqlite now that all these companies are building things on it?
Did you quite PlanetScale or are they just this chill with the competition?
They laid me off!
@@aarondfrancis No way! You're the only reason I even know about them.
@@rudde7251 crazy right??
I really want to know what is the Camera you are using, Never seen a quality like this. By the way, great video
Wow so we can develop application in laravel with sqlite and deploy it also in sqlite with turso?
Awesome interview!

Ha! Noted, thank you
The number of Ads was obnoxious
Not sure what to tell ya
I got premium just to avoid this. If you don't want to spend then watch it in brave browser
