Friday Night Funkin' in Godot - Main Menu - Devlog #3

This was by far the hardest episode to make. It could've been easier if I knew how Adobe Animate XMLs work, but I don't, so I had to guess how everything works, but, after some pain, I managed to make Godot read XMLs to animate sprites automatically. This is going to be really useful later, since some things have A LOT of frames, and auto slice doesn't work with all sprite sheets (like the ones where the frames are way too close together), but I'm still going to use the old method when possible.

Q: Why Godot of all engines?
A: Because I like and I have master it.
Q: What's the point of this?
A: I'm doing this mainly for fun, but I also want to make this a functional engine (like Pysch and Kade Engine), but in Godot.
Q: Why are you making videos about this?
A: Because I thought it would be cool to show the progress I'm making.
Q: Are you going to release this? When?
A: Yes, but I don't know when.
Q: What music did you use in this video?
A: Wii Music.
Q: Are you going to recreate FNF EXACTLY?
A: Nope. If I can make something better than the base game, I will.
Q: Will this be more of a “kade” type of modding or “psych” type of modding experience?
A: Can't tell yet.
