Dick, Thank you! I was just about to return the whole shebang because the Givi instructions sucked, and when I say they wanted me to cut through the fender I saw NFW. When I saw this did not have to be done, I decided to give it a go. I've got the bracket installed and now need to go out to the garage and put the other assorted bits back in place. It was very selfless of you to spend the time doing this for the benefit of others. If you're ever out Utah way, hit me up. I'd like to buy you a drink.
Last week I bought this installation set including the Givi hard site cases. The shop told it was fairly easy to do, however as soon as I opened the box, I realised that it was the opposite. Thanks to your video I was able to do it. Great work! I have exactly the same bike (same colour). Actually right now I hope Givi will produce soft site cases, using the same click system. Thanks for the video. I was planning to install Givi Trekker side cases on my f700 because oem panniers are more expensive. But the Givi set with the racks come up at higher price + installation. So i chose oem set. Ride safe. Cheers.

I'm looking to install Givi CAM Pannier racks on a different motorcycle, but this is helpful. Were you able to remove the two bottom support catches and the upper latch (silver)?
Ciao! I got F800 GS Adventure 2016... I want to fix this tubos for Givi Trekker cases instead Bmw parts. Do you think holes are the same of Bmw tubos? Ciao grazie!!
I purchased GIVI Trekker 33 panniers for my Kawasaki Vulcan 650 S. They are expensive in Thailand! The poor installation diagram shows a completely different rack system than the one shipped. I had to figure out what to do with all the different sized bolts and spacers myself. Three failed attempts but I finally got it right! You would think someone who sells expensive panniers, custom made for certain motorcycles would at least spend a little time to update their installation guides. At least show which bolts and spacers go where!

Do you need metric or standard torx bits?
