I like and respect the fact that you went with a Studebaker supercharged 289!! It's one of the most underrated engines ever built.It would look cool if you mounted a spare on the driver's side as well.Fantastic truck!!!!
I have a good friend that is relay into Studebakers. One of his cars that he keeps here in Arizona and finished here is a 37 truck just like this one with a Chevy V8 and lots of good stuff. It is nice to see that his is not the only one!
gotta love it. my great grandfather. my grandpa and my grandmother all worked for the studebaker corp in indiana for years sad they tore the factory down. love my studebakers one of my dream cars to own.
Beautiful and tastefully done resto-rod. I own the car version of this in same factory color. A 1937 Dictator 6A. Interesting fact, Helen Dryden, an industrial designer was the primary designers and consultant. Love my mostly original Stude, but this coupe is gorgeous.
Excuse me...Packard bought Studebaker, lock, stock and barrel in 1954 A complicated scenario followed with the surviving partner being Studebaker by 1962, when the Packard name was dropped when the new luxury leader, Avanti was introduced.

Thankfully some remnants of the factory still exist. Other parts not so much of course. My great grandfathers used to work at Studebaker as well.
