I am in the process of making a major shift in my mindset, and sometimes get frustrated by the way I seem to take 2 steps forward, 1 step back, dt self sabotage...I am learning not to beat myself up, to use the negative to trigger more positive response in myself. Today I managed to 'surf' a wave of negativity by doing my yoga, taking care of my body, walking my dog, moving rocks, talking to a friend, and not beating myself up for not being optimally productive today. I've been trying to find a way for the past 5/6 to help men and young men struggling, due to my own experiences and spending that time learning. Worrying about how I am going to earn money has partly held me back. This interview has reaffirmed my need to do that, for others but also for myself, irrespective of the financial success. I just need to find more people in that space to connect with and learn from.
