Purchased a FM-9 last week from Primary Arms after preparing the firearm from the range I noticed the mags were getting damaged by the extractor pin being to low on the BCG. I reached out to Paul at Foxtrot he stated that was supposed to happen? Purchased a EPC-9 and hit the range. I will be returning the FM-9 to PA. Don't waste your money on a FM=9 go with a EPC-9 far superior firearm for same price..
Just picked up a 7" side charger upper from Primary Arms for $290. If it runs, how the hell can you go wrong with a complete upper for $290....even if it's not cream of the crop, for an add on to an existing pistol (with Sylvan mag block) for just messing around and plinking, it seems like a no-brainer. Gonna be honest, never heard of this company until now. Seems like, from what I'm reading, there stuff is atleast decent 🤷♂️. I prefer Ergo grips. Been through a lot, and I think they're one of the best. Simple, comfortable, good traction...should try one if you haven't. As a bonus, they come with a little gap filler piece that you can use on a standard lower, or omit on a billet/integral trigger guard lower.
How's it been? Looking at the same one. Seems to have all the upgrades one would want right out of the box. Really interested to hear your thoughts on that upgraded trigger.
@@rocker00000 you can’t go wrong. Only issue I had was that AIM used this round stainless retainer pin for the firing pin. The OD of this pin was binding the firing pin. Contacted AIM. They sent a whole kit with a new firing pin, spring, retainer and an ejector. The new retainer was your standard folded cotter type pin. After that, runs flawless. If things go well on 11/3, I’ll be suppressor shopping 👍🏼
Primary Arms had it in stock in the middle of June when I ordered it. Two days later it was out of stock. I checked again a week later and it was in stock again. Last I looked, they were out again.
@Steimy Stein How are you liking it, any issues, pro's/con's? I'm about to order the FM 8.5", or 10.5"(leaning towards the 8.5") upper, and then wait patiently for the premium FM-9 lower when I can find one
So far it's been great. I added a SBA4 brace and it's quite comfortable to shoot. The only co n I might have is with the side charge location on the 8". You can't really put anything on the rail above it (I knew going in it was like that and I wasn't planning on putting anything on it), and I added a QR mount on the left side right under the charge handle, so it took some room from under the charge handle. Things are a little tight, but I can still get to the handle just fine. That's it....that's the only nitpick about it, and I can easily move the QR mount closer to the receiver if it annoys me too much. Everything thing else I love on this gun.
Idk exactly but about as long as my arm, I think you can buy one of those actual collapsible AR stocks (SBR) and it would easily fit in a smaller backpack, but it would easily fit in a small gym bag.
I recently bought a 45 from Foxtrot Mike. Only able to find the 3" bbl in stock. That warhammer charging handle would be the stuff !! I'm considering a 9 mm too, with the side charging setup... But I've been in LOVE with my Grand Power Stribog.
If you want something a little different, check out the POF Tomahawk charging handle. Been using them for years now, one of my favorites. Neat, skeletonized look, large and easy to grasp on either side, Ambi.

scott2228 I went 7” because I wanted a little extra foregrip space. I’m not a fan of the standard side-charging handle - too small and cheap-feeling. I’ve ordered a paratrooper handle from FM.
