Rap star Mark Morrison goes on the run
Rap star Mark Morrison enhanced his reputation as the bad boy of British pop after failing to turn up in court on charges of carrying an offensive weapon. His vanishing trick occurred when he was due to appear at Marylebone court, London, after a truncheon was allegedly found in his car. Last summer the wayward star was imprisoned for another offence when he threatened a British police officer with an electric stun gun. Morrison tried to make a mockery of the legal system earlier this month when he cheekily sent a lookalike along to complete several days of community service. Morrison could find himself ostracised by the musical establishment as he continues to court controversy. When he is found, magistrates have ordered that the 25-year-old singer must be held in custody.
