Trans-Cascadia now has what they call "excursions" for non-racers. Single-day, multi-day, from the Gifford-Pinchot in Washington down through Oregon as far south as Oakridge. Big guided days in the back country. Really fun. Done one so far and am signed up for a bunch more.
I instantly realized .. that dirt .. is sooooooo good !! What a descent !! Am in Hood River n have sampled "the Gifford goods" alot in spring when moisture content is where we "gear head speed addicts" want it !! Alot of it is both dirt bike n ATV trails, the latter being the best for their width .. equaling "going mo faaast, ah !!" Garth Hardin on utube to see some of the Post Canyon goods including trail side naps .. Ride Jump or Wither !!!
I missed y'all on Mount Ashland a few days ago by a couple of minutes. I was on the second shuttle barely making it, because I came up from Santa Cruz. Rode Time Warp, bc of your video on it!! Keep up the good work boys! 🤘🏼
I've hiked this trail a few years ago from S to N. Unbelievable views, some of the best I've ever seen, though it looks like you were there in the clouds. Transcascadia is awesome. Looking forward to trying this ride out.
By Far Thought the same thing before you started commenting on the ride being one of the sickest descents of your life.. totally thought man, this is some of the dopest cleanest riding I’ve ever seen from a POV GoPro cam... WoW! Stoked bro good on ya!
Rocket speed!! I live in WA. and have been wanting toride one of the stages of the Trans-cascadia. Was this the one recommended to you if only doing one? I want get out there. Thanks for the vid!
What setting do you run your flip chip in? Been riding my rocky altitude in middle setting and love it but gonna try the slack angle at the bike park tomorrow.
@@TrailPeek 3hrs for that descent looks absolutely worth it. How do you find out where the past Trans Cascadia trails are? I've tried looking for old course maps but have always come up empty.
@@TrailPeek Hey i think im gonna ride it in the future its probably coverd in snow right now? Is it? Anyways did you park lower on the fire road? Whats the clossest you can get to the singletrack to climb? Or is part of the fireroad fenced off? BTW AMAZING VID!
Parts of the Bay Area turnin' into dust bowl conditions.
Craving me some of that hero dirt up there broh.

Yeeeeew!! Can't wait to see part 2!
Hero Dirt, fast lines, great corner ! 😃
Sustained high speed is such an awesome feeling.
Yup, thats some of my favorite. Just ripping through the woods effortlessly.
Awesome trail!
I can feel the stoke! Yewww!
Went and rode it today. Unbelievable! But where’s the Tongue vid? I swear to god Tongue was the best trail I’ve ridden in, like, i dunno, AWHILE!
super sick!
Man, thank you for bringing that absolutely epic trail to my Wednesday lunchtime. That looked liked fun with a capital "F*CK!"
Do you know if this area is still rideable in mid October?

Its the only ride ive down out there. Apparently Strawberry ridge is the best.

With the 170mm up front I run it in Position 3. When I still had 160, it was in Pos 1.
So fast so fun :D
Dude, do you use a Ford Transit Connect as a camper?! How do you like it?
Yea, for a minimalist like me, its pretty sick! Decent amount of storage and good gas mileage
Mike & Ikes? Nice!!!
I usually go for Sour Patch kids, but the store didnt have them
How long did you have to ascend for? Looks like quite the hike.
It actually wasnt too bad, about 2 hours on fireroad, another hour on the singletrack. Worth it!

@@TonyMannyGallo check their website or look on trail forks

never mind whatched the voice over guy. Comming in clutch
Do mike n’ Ike’s help on long rides? Seriously? Thanks for the awesomeness, bros.
For me yea, I really dont think theres much of a difference between a shot blok/gu/etc than just straight candy. Open to alternative opinions though
Solo ride? Ballsy, I'd be looking over my shoulder for cougars the whole time ( on the climb anyways )
Good day, tater.
Bring your bear spray. Dude was killed by a mountain lion no too long ago.
was that in the news!?
You're far more likely to be killed by a tweaker in these parts. If a cat gets you....It'll be quick and painless when they grab you by the neck.
