Met him backstage in Oakland CA. Couldn’t have been more genuine. When it was time for them to leave, an assistant said to Angus, The limos are here.” Angus said, “Hang on, I’m talking to Michael.” He could have rushed away, but he took the time to be kind and courteous to a fan. Besides the great music they make, I’ll be a fan because of that small gesture.
I've seen this band in concert more than any other band. In the 80s they must have had a grueling touring schedule because they showed up in Houston every year and you never get tired of seeing them. Great band, and Young's energy on stage playing the guitar was always phenomenal.
There's a great mural of Angus painted on the storefront of Manny's Music on Botany Road Alexandria, a mere stone's throw from where ACDC debuted at Victoria Park swimming pool all those years ago. Amazing really,🤔
My first concert ever was in Houston at Circle Star Amphitheater. 1985 Fly on the wall tour - Yngwie Malmsteen opened. I'm 53 now and still remember every detail of that show. Good times

I was a high school freshman, a farm girl from a small farming community in NE Colorado, when I was introduced to AC/DC's first album...I was in total awe! I loved Bon Scott's unique voice, and the school-boy-uniform-attired Angus...he and his guitar are absolute magic! I acquired every album AC/DC made - records, cassette tapes, CD's, and now streaming their albums - 44 years later I'm still listening to them with my Wyoming-ite husband, and we reside in my small farming community in Colorado. Much ♡ for Angus!

I've only seen AC/DC once the last Hampden Gig in Scotland. Best gig of my life. When Shoot to thrill came on the place erupted I thought I was going to burst into tears with sheer excitement. Totally amazing.

I watched a little bit of a documentary about AC/DC and Angus Young and they were saying that his bodyguards have to keep him moving along, because if it was up to Angus he would stay there all day signing autographs and taking photos!!! He’s a great man and a ROCK N ROLL LEGEND!!!

I've only seen AC/DC once the last Hampden Gig in Scotland. Best gig of my life. When Shoot to thrill came on the place erupted I thought I was going to burst into tears with sheer excitement. Totally amazing.
