I'm a sucker for the Jon Boat tournament videos, big swim bait videos, and big spoons videos. But out of all the yt fisherman video content creators you are one of the best. The B roll, the info during the video, the energy and enthusiasm. I appreciate what you do brother for the sport and hobby of fishing and the life of outdoorsman.
@@SBFishing well played- no biggie! 😉 I live on the Rez- I haven’t had the pleasure of meeting you yet but I know a few guys who have and said you couldn’t be cooler! Until then, 🍻👍🏻
Its literally a Jackall Riser 007R that they figured that works as a jerkbait. I've found out that you can use the Riser 007R that exact way people are fishing this. It will fall backwards and shimmy. I guarantee you can fish this like the Riser was originally intended and it work the same way. You can fish the Riser 009PS also the same and if reeled slowly, it becomes a spy bait that moves more water. Just saying.
Been trying to get my hands on one for a while. I literally thought the riser was meant to be fished like the krej until I saw a video of it last summer 😂 For sure agreed they can be fished the same. I can fish a buzzbait like a jig too.
@@SBFishing I'm not knocking you because most anglers here in the US aren't very aware of Japanese and other Asian designs. However, people should really look into these latest "designs" from Berkeley and ask if maybe these designs are legitimately unique as they claim. *Cough cough* Nessie *cough* We have this ongoing controversy of big bait companies copying baits and it's not just Berkeley. Take for instance the Scat is a highly copied design that is recent. Companies like Yamamoto, Missile Baits, 3tc have their own version the moment that bait became popular in the US. I'm not talking about crankbaits designs, a bait that's been around now forever, but more recent introductions that are being copied within months or a very few years. That needs to be addressed.
@@256bassfishingalso gotta be different and not an almost identical copy. Like bait catagory is fine but if you buy a bait and make an exact mold and try to sell it... not ok. Riser is better imo. Metal durability and walks at slow speeds. More flash as well.
The weight on the krej is way more substantial looks like you can launch it compared to the riser. I haven't had any success on the riser and I waited over a year and a half to get one. Will be giving the krej a try😊
I really like the concept and action from it. Especially the crazy shimmer on the way down. Thanks for taking the time to create a great vid man. I just recently found your Instagram and TH-cam channel and your channel is quickly becoming one of my favorites.
Geeeezzzzzzzz!!! When they're reactin' like that, why not go out, huh!?! Something that is to be "visible" on the graph ....... not that ya gotta have a graph to fish it. The graph don't mean chit!!! The fish are reacting to the bait, not the graph!!! Pretty simple you'd think........... then again - ya know... Hey, they've got a graph -- ahh chit, I looked at that bait and they seen me do it .... I've gotta go for it now!!! Hey, graphs are weird, they make fish do stuff they normally wouldn't do!!! --- LOL, nice bags bud -- keep it tight! Be Safe
Hello, i am warching you from Germany. I will never understand why you are casting, with the Casting Rod, with your right Arm and than switching the Rod to your left Arm and turning the Handle of your Reel also with your right Hand. When you fish with a stationary Reel, you Cast with right Arm and turn the Handle with your left Hand. I hope you understand what i mean.
Enjoyed talking & spending time with you at Anglers Choice Open House this past Friday! Best of luck in all your endeavors!
Killer vid! Best one using this new bait. Congrats, Matt!
Thanks John
For some reason the fall and shimmy gives me Senko vibes. Great vid!
That’s a very good point
Awesome bro keep them coming
will do
Great video and great looking baits! You had some very nice catches. Thanks for sharing buddy!
Thanks for watchin. Always love when testing a new bait out and you get an immediate response from the fish. Makes it an instant winner.
Killin it! The weights almost look like the same as in a Duo Realis Spybait, that has that shimmy as it falls.
Thanks dude! Definitely remind me of a spy bait.
Look up the Duo Beach Walker Vib and you'll see whete Berkley stole the finisher. Its a surf lure for flounder.
Its cool seeing big fish being caught in winter time 🐖🐖🐖
Best time to catch the bigs
Those are some sick bites
Did you add split ring to the krej
How strong is that line eye on the lip?
Heck yeah great video! I cant wait to get my hands on some of these baits to mess with on scope.
They’re legit. Had to buy a couple more 😂
This bait looks amazing going to get a few
What size line are you using
Just the video I was looking for!😁😁🤙
Thanks for checking it out!!
Where is the John boat you built? Is that for sale.
Can you do a video on your FFS settings?
Wow. Great winter action! So fun. Will have to p/u a few of theses lures. Looks like a VA lake? What is the water temp?
9:42 shows 40.03°F
Super fun. Temps were 40-41 degrees. Cold!!!
Tournament ready!
Yessir
Why do people throw the lure with the right hand then swap the rod/reel to the left hand? Excellent fishing.
Epic fishing!!! 🎉
Thanks! Fun day
BIG SPOONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Might’ve worked

Awesome video man. Can’t wait for it to come back in stock. What KLX you running for your jerk baits?
Thanks dude! Using the 7’3 light medium heavy. It’s a bit long for me, but gets the job done til I can get a solid jb rod.
@@SBFishing sweet. If you don’t mind the full cork handle the 6’10 Chromium scope series has been killer for me.
Great video. Keep it up .love the guide baits videos
Great Video! Appreciate your content! Thanks!
Thanks for checking it out!

Those “local lakes” are great places to film catching nice fish on new lure releases😉.

Krej, spell it back words.
Welp. I’m sold.
I’ll say I only had those 2 trips last week fishing it, but I have a very strong feeling it’s gonna be a pretty big player all year.

But they gotta change that name lol. Sounds like a radio station name. 108.1 the krej
😂😂agreed

Damn. I fish off the bank.
You can for sure catch em from the bank on this bait! Give it a go

It’s a bad habit that I started off on the wrong foot. How I’ve always done it. Would make sense to switch, or better learn to cast left handed 😂
How fast is the fall on the krej? We fish a lot of 5-6 fow.
