Just got mine today. A few things I don't like about it, I wish the handle was rubber. I feel like it's gonna slip right outta my hand. I'm gonna have to wrap the handle in hockey tape or something. Also, I like to have a lanyard hole in my knives. But, that's just me. Mine came sharp enough to shave hair off my arm. The tip is as sharp as a needle. Like, I'm sitting here looking at the tip and scratching my head wondering how in hell they managed to get it that fine. I'm beyond impressed with the grind. What a lovely lovely dagger. Really glad I picked one up.
@@TheHunter.2023 I have to trust that the SK-5 steel would be very resistant to breaking considering it's specifically rated for high impacts. But, the tip is much pointer than any other dagger I own. If you stabbed a board or something harder. I imagine you'd most likely break the tip rather easily.
@notanundercovercop8851 Thank you so much for answering sir..you made my decision easier I think I'll go with crkt otanashi no Ken instead now I have a crkt hz6 and I have faces the same delicate tip issue with that already and for a defensive or offensive weapon its a huge concern.
I Love Spartan Blades I have their "Phrike" as my daily carry. If a blade isn't sharp then it may as well just be a spike. This is made in Tiwan specifically to meet a price point so I'll cut it some slack. I'm sure it can be "touched up" to an acceptable edge. I'd prefer one of their top of the line daggers but, I'm not a rich man & this one has a better chance of ending up in my collection. It's not perfect but, you get what you pay for & I can't say I'm not stoked about it.
Thanks for the video . I had just purchased the last one of DLT"s current stock . That's always a good feeling knowing you're not the cat that's going to be waiting for the back in stock email. Thanks again for the video and I can't wait to get mine in the post
Awesome, glad you got one. Definitely a cool blade. I would like to eventually get one of their premium models as well. I handled one at Shotshow. Very nice blade. Thanks for watching and commenting, appreciate the support and feedback!
It seems to be really well done considering the price. I can't wait to unbox mine when it finally arrives. Did you try to sharpen it? And what about the sheath? Does the knife fit in well?
Glock FM78 is the same weight, 100 times stronger, has a stronger tip, is more legal in more countries, more versatile, is made in Europe and costs half as much. And after I saw the Spartan KA-BAR snap in half like a twig (Source: DBK), I know where I have put my money.
Completely different purpose. The FS and this Spartan equivalent is made for one thing only. The Spartan Ka-bar still had all the same design flaws as the original, and was bound to fail the way it did.
Buy it 4 the name alone !! Sadly DP DAV so be a dream blase 4me. Look @ Vids 2 help advise 4 of my 7 g/kids R-in ROTC now. TY 4 reliable intel & sub'd also ;)
Yeah those States suck believe me I like in one ,the knife laws are not bad but they are not the best in my State. Much better than some though. Now Texas ! they have the best 2 Amendments Laws around along with a few other States.
I’ve been waiting on a F-S, so I couldn’t resist this one. Really nice knife!

Is the tip sturdy or will it easily break?

I love spartan blades. But I want the RMJ raider dagger! ❤🎉
I'm a Dagger fan and that one I like a lot and it is on the list at the very top too.🗡️🗡️🗡️⚔️🗡️🗡️🗡️🗡️

@@bigjayroadstar1700 anytime. I'm almost as excited about this one as I was waiting for the Ec 4 commando from KaBar
Arms are arms. I don't know why we don't fight for our knife rights the way we do our gun rights; they're under the same umbrella of the 2nd.
I agree, thanks for watching!

The knife does fit well in the sheath. Good retention. I haven't tried to touch the edge up yet. Thank you for watching.
I think it gets the point across.
Got Wife 2 watch & Her response 2me Dream ON ole Man LOL !
Bad assery!
Yess Sirr ! the kinda bad that good 😎

You’re ridiculous
@@BBE22OOOWH Thats not an arguement. Just your emotions. No sources.
@@wyles965 I'm not convinced though. Again, the Glock FM78 can do the same thing and more and is stronger.
The tip seems very thin. Will the tip break easily?
Why should it ? its not a tactical knife its a dagger for combat situation
I can get one for $109 at NC BLADE and im trying to choose between this and the Fighting knife for $130
Fairbairn, applegate and Sykes were bad designers?

Sk5 steel? Really?
Красиво и стилно острие. Не ми харесва синтетичния гард
You can't go wrong with a Spartan.
