Thankyou so much sis ❤ I have seen many videos for this and didn't get it all are explaining in a complex way u made it crystal clear and too simple ..
ma'am you have given the question to find out first and follow actually i have find first but i have to arise a difficulty to find out follow ,ma'am can you please find out the follow???
Mam while writing follow for E you considered only first production S ,but in second production S1 also contains E and it is the last value in the production so we should write follow of S1 to the follow of E right
Alright guys here is the true correct answer to her hw problem: First(S)={a,d} First(A)={a,d} First(B)={b,f} First(C)={h,g} First(D)={b} First(E)={c} --------------- Follow(S)={$} Follow(A)={$,d} Follow(B)={$,d,h,g} Follow(C)={f} Follow(D)={f} Follow(E)={f} my reasoning is that there were no ε(epsilons) in the problem. Feel free to correct me because IK I am wrong.
@@rohanmahamuni8493 Rules: For follow: If terminal in front, add it to { }. if front of non terminal get the nonterminal's first= { }. if nothing in front, get the Follow of the LHS. so, 1.) First B appears in A->aB | Ad. Since there is nothing in front of B, you get the follow of the LHS so you will get A's Follow which is {$,d} 2.) Second B appears in B->bBCf | f. Since non terminal C is following B. You get the First(C)={h,g} so Follow(B)={$,d,h,g}

So the follow of D and E are dependent on each other while the first follow of D yields {f} am I correct if I write the same for Both D and E?
Mam while writing follow for E you considered only first production S ,but in second production S1 also contains E and it is the last value in the production so we should write follow of S1 to the follow of E right
brilliant work Mam
Keep learning, keep sharing 😊✌
In the example you gave at the end of the video, what's the follow set of S if S is not present anywhere on the RHS?
If S is not present anywhere on the RHS, then the follow set of S will only contain {$}
Follow is very tricky then first
Yes, you're right
Awesome 👍
Thank you! Cheers!

in the given question in the ending scene i believe we have left recursion in A production right ???

Follow S={a,$}
Follow A={a,$,d}
Follow B={a,$,d,h,g}
Follow C={f}
Follow D={h,f,g}
Follow E={h,f,g}
Is tis correct mam
Follow of A follow of B are wrong
wrong
Please, Mam, if I am not wrong, you said Follow set always contains a dollar sign But The follow set of (E) only contains t
I said the Follow set of Starting Symbol i.e. S here, will always contain a dollar sign. E is not the starting symbol
@@CSEconceptswithParinita alright thanks is more clear now

There two S in right side you took only first one for follow

Follow (s) =$, follow(a) =$, follow (b) =(h, g) , follow d and e is also same one in follow b. Is this right answer please reply mam

Why there is only 22 videos? Have you covered all chapters in 22 videos?
Yes, refer the playlists of Compiler Design & TOC.....almost all the topics are covered 💯😊

First(S)={a,d}
First(A)={a,d}
First(B)={b,f}

---------------

Follow(E)={f}
my reasoning is that there were no ε(epsilons) in the problem.

U are right in the sense because follow of E and of D will get into loop 😇, so this is right bro 😇
explain follow (B)
@@rohanmahamuni8493 Rules: For follow:
