I wanted to write this a long time. You have one of the best trip report channels. I love your style of filming and explaining. The filming of cities/places from the air with names is fantastic as well as planes on the ground. If feels like one is travelling with you. Keep it up. Cheers from Sweden.
I am the big fan too ,the best thing is that I can feel not only the passion for aviation but also a true passion for traveling in your videos ,which I think other aviation channels sometimes lack.
Epic video. The weather is so spectacular and NEVER in my 42 years of commercial flying have I seen the engines remain at full blast / TOGA mode for so long (they usually throttle back after about 90 seconds, creating that 'sinking feeling?). Added bonus with respect to the destination - I LOVE Crete and have visited the island 23 times since 1991 (although I usually fly into Chania, having friends who live in the area. I have only flown into and out of Heraklion 3 times.) Subscribed!
Very dramatic takeoff! As a passenger I would be a bit fearful of flying in those weather conditions, so it was nice to be able to experience it from my quiet dining room.🙂
@@OnBoardHD A book you and your subscribers may enjoy if you have not already read it is *Fate is the Hunter*, a memoir by Ernest K Gann. He flew DC2's/DC3's for American Airlines during the 1930s, and was a pilot for the Air Transport Command during WWII. (Air Transport Command (ATC) was a United States Air Force unit that was created during World War II as the strategic airlift component of the United States .) In the book Gann gives an interesting account of the first time he encountered a thunderstorm during his apprenticeship. Fortunately, the captain was an experienced pilot and the DC2 landed safely.
Wow, incredible!! Reminds me of a flight I once took from Heathrow to Dusseldorf. There was a ground stop at first, but we eventually taxied to the runway and took off into the storm! It was only late morning, but for most of the flight it was black as night outside. It seemed like we weaved our way around storm cells the whole way, although the flight was surprisingly free of turbulence. After we landed at Dusseldorf and were taxiing to the stand, I looked back and saw the enormous black wall of storm cloud we had just emerged from. It was quite an experience! Thanks for the great video! 👍
Thanks a lot, Andy! Recording this flight was just fantastic! :)) haha Nice that you brought back some nice memories about your trip!! :) Have a great week!
Great video. My favourite airline and favourite aircraft! I think the A321 with V2500 power are the best sounding engines, what a treat to have full thrust and bravo to the pilots for navigating around the massive storms!
I just love to see people fly, because I don't get in a plane very much, like maximum 6-8 times per year. And I the feeling when flying. You are doing an amazing job! Keep going! :)
I think this has to be one of your best trip reports for excellent content. What a storm. I would have been really anxious as I don’t like them. The maximum thrust gave a real feeling of speed on take off and the climb to cruise level, and to finish off, great views of Crete. Thank you xx
Hello Lucas. What an amazing video my friend. In this video you can realise two things. The first one is, what an extraordinary machine is the plane and the second is the extreme difference in weather between a northern country like Austria and a southern one like Greece.I have returned from my vacation yesterday and I already miss those days.Beautiful views from the stormy take off and the sunny landing.Really amazed me.Cheers mate
That takeoff was amazing, absolute wonder to watch! Would love to experience such thing in real life! Great Report, very clear and right to the point! :)
Thanks Lucas, what a storm! Reminded me of the storms in the Amazon.I can imagine the level of attention in the cockpit during the first part of the flight, and finally the big contrast with the sunny and hot Greece
Hello Lucas! So, this was a stormy TripReport....now or never (funny) but...with a sunny ending! Great filming...very enjoyed it! Thanks for your work Lucas;)) Happy weekend....Betsy....
I just want to say I have always been a huge weather enthusiast, and that was a thunderstorm of which had came in a line and had a growth of which led to multiple cells! Just love the sight of a huge storm, although UK storms only last 10 minutes. Also nice trip report, that huge turn right after takeoff was an unusual sight! Keep up the great videos! :)

What a terrifying storm over Vienna ! Brilliant take-off and flight, and I trust you stayed a while on Crete, which is truly wonderful for a holiday ! Many thanks.
Great trip report as always, with the stormy weather it was excellent to watch 😁😁 , it was great to record such a big storm area near the airport and in flight !! Stay safe my friend!!

Engines at full thrust...Wow ! What an amazing sound. Better than any music🎶 Felt like I was sitting on that plane. Loved it❤
I love that sound. Full thrust take off amazing. Those were bad storms. Love Wizzair.
I like these type of videos, Where they’re taking off from places where it can be cold,
And the flight will be escaping the cold and into holidays :)
