ITV started showing these shows over here in England back in the late 80s as it was the only 24hr station operating at the time,so it needed something to fill the schedules. Little did they know, it was already cancelled in Australia by the time it had garnered a huge cult following here.
I think the first episode I ever saw would have been in 1986 or 1987 as I was still a schooly and dating who is now my brother in law. His parents were away on holiday so I stayed over at their house and we lay in bed with the tv on. I became hooked after that and always ensured I was home in time to watch it. I split up with the boyfriend after a couple of years and 30 years later, I recently married his older brother:)
@coffeegulper905 The post production team had a bit of a tragedy in that we have had quite a lot of flooding and storms here in Australia. One day when the editor was putting together an episode there was a black out and it wiped out the memory. Why he didn't have it backed up I will never know. From what I hear they are trying to salvage as much of the raw footage as possible. It's a pity as it looked so good.I know the Director of the show is currently in the Philipines and is working there.
I'm working with Val Lehman on a proposed new TV Pilot. The footage of Val and her character is fantastic.Look out for it fans,It will be called Business and Pleasure. Val plays the C.E.O of a corporation where she tears and degrades anyone who stands in her way.In real life Val is wonderful and warm,I laughed at every joke she told.

watch Vera turn the key in the security gate at the start- it's dead obvious there is no lock and the door is open!!
is that a new receptionist?
u could see Vera very deep down felt for Lizzie, of course her principles got in the way again.

I loved this show so much 🏴🇬🇧
Poor old Lizzie didn't even kill Kay White, she took the rap for someone who saved her life.
She didn't have any principles when she was helping her criminal boyfriend.
