Fortune, the steep bouldering section before you cross RT. 17 is called the "Agony Grind" whether going up or down it's a tough one! Harriman State Park was/is my hometown go to. There's so much AT history in Harriman, one being the shelters, a few were the first to be built in the early 1930's. One shelter on the AT where Grandma Gatewood was interviewed by a female reporter in 1955 I believe. Glad to see you're back on the trail after banging up your knee. Best of luck and good legs on your journey.

I didn't laugh when you made the lemon joke, but laughed when you said, "Who are you? Have you been following me all this time?" You're thin, so you had no problem fitting thru the lemon squeezer, but I believe there'a a bypass for larger folks who cannot fit. Beautiful hiking day with lots of green foliage and the waterfall.
