I love how crochet braids look! I've been wanting to try them, but I've been hesitant. I'm afraid that over time the hook will snatch out small patches from frequent crocheting. Does the hook pull hair out at all? Is this a risk to be worried about?
There is a latch on the crochet hook itself, so when you go to pull the hair through the braid, you close the latch so it can't pull your hair. If you don't close the latch, and try to pull the hair through, it can pop your hair.
