@Cyneria make sure u are not full screened fullscreening th6 fucks the game if u wan full screen change ur resolution that helped me and also make sure you are opening the right game there are 2 files that look like oh i can click this and open the game but one of them isn't it its like a broken version of the game so make sure you open the right one out of 2 and then if that doesnt work try deleting it then getting from, (MORIYA SHRINE) they have all the tohou games and working versions i hope that helped tohou is a beatiful game and series so i really hope you are able to figure it out
