After my video last week about the new resin used for the new The Old World models, I asked you guys if you wanted a full tutorial on the Damsel that I picked up during one of the restocks-and you said yes! The new Bretonnina Damsel is beautifully sculpted which might make her a little intimidating to paint but once you see the ridiculously easy steps I used to paint her...you have no problems! If there's any other tutorials you'd like to see for The Old World, please let me know!

You may call yourself mediocre, but I think you do excellent work.
Yeah, it's really good quality and seems fairly quickly done too. Would take me many hours to get about 60% of the quality.
Far too kind pal.
Thanks for putting this together for us Andy, it was interesting to see how she was painted properly. Still absolutely loving the sculpt as well she is such a beautiful mini.
I want another one so bad.
Lovely job Andy 😍🙌😍
Great work as always
Appreciate it Pal. We shall need to have a game at some point.
Looks great! I am waiting for stock to return on several of these.
Same.
Amazing work! i ❤ your paintingstyle.
So nice to hear pal.
very nice !!!!! i will have it in my tutorials for sure!!
Glad to hear.
Amazing video as always. The blue you used for that cape is stunning. Also a big fan of the blueberry smoothie.
Thanks pal.
So a cool trick I've learned with contrast paint on big, smooth surfaces (like the cape) is to do a 1:1 mix of the contrast with Lahiman medium. It helps the pooling/splotchiness of contrast on such areas really well. It's still advised to do some layering up afterwards, but you won't need to do AS much of it.
I need to give that a try.
Beautiful job … the fabrics look immense
Thanks pal.
cheers for the painting guide for Damsel.
Anytime pal.
I just painted my own copy a few days ago- Beautiful mini!
And great work on yours, too!
Cheers pal. Great sculpt.
That is a gorgeous sculpt.
It really is.
Beautiful miniature and beautiful paint job. Thanks for the video! I have the old Prophetess on horse which I believe goes on preorder tomorrow and I'm waiting for the other two damsels that were MTO to ship along with a few foot knights. I had to pick up the Warhammer Quest knight as I have wanted that mini forever and couldn't find it when WHQ was a thing.
Sounds good. The new foot knights are so good.
She's a beauty, nice work!
Thanks pal.
That TTC blue was glorious! Congrats on the element games mention yesterday in their email update for the Doombull 👍🏼
Cheers pal. It was a nice surprise.
Great painting of a fantastic figure.
Thanks. Its was good fun.
Beautiful mini and a splendid job as always!
Cheers pal.
Stunning, as ever.
Cheers.
Cool job!
Cheers.
Gorgeous! And a useful tutorial. Thanks.
Cheers pal.
I've hated Bretonnians for nearly 30 years (old Undead WH player). That said your army looks wonderful! Good luck in any other upcoming tourneys with them!
Thanks pal. I get that.
Grateful to you for showing us the full video of this one. Was well worth it. 😊
Glad to hear.
These "Old World" figures/sclupts are so much better than the Age of Sigma or 40K ones (which frankly look over done and stupid). Excellent paint job as always!
Ah I’m a fan of most sculpts. If I get your point.
Looks amazing
Thank you!
Saved! Now we just need the model to become available 😛
Hahaha yep
Ha Ha - coment number one - great video as always Andy.
Nice pal.
I will try and paint my Pegasus white in this style
I have a Pegasus tutorial up too!
I do like the way that dress came out, how well does that technique work with other wash colors?
I’m sure it looks great.
Still waiting on my Bretonnians :( Probably will get the stuff not before end of April, waiting on the starterboxes, the MTO, the other direct only and well Saturday will have more stuff I will probably not get in the first production wave...
This morning was a few more pieces so I’m a happy knight.
Yeah not gonna bother unless it is MTO until I have the other stuff I'm waiting on :/

I'm still waiting for this model to be available in Canada, along with nearly everything else. ;_;
I literally just ordered the bsb and questing knight on foot about an hour ago. They were finally back in stock.
Out of curiosity what size brush do you use for the eyes?
Small layer brush. Great point.
how the hell did you do the back of the cloak from the inside?? !!!! the mini can be seperated from the base?
Carefully lol. And it’s designed and stuck together but and easy piece to cut off.
They had the on foot and on horse prophetess for pre order but no damsel. Have they indicated when they plan to release it?
Yep I should have ordered it. I feel stupid now.
👍👍
Cheers.
The Fae Enchantress is an elf, The Lady in the Lake is an Elven God, A bit different 😁
It's changed over the years, but the Lady has been Lileath for more than a decade at this point.
Hahhaa fair.
For some manner of Lady!
Hahahaha for all manner of ladies.
I do not get it. New TOW minis do not match what they re-release AT ALL. No respect for this past era and nostalgia. Do not get me wrong. New minis looks great... If they were intended for Cities of Sigmar or AoS.
I love both and so do most people it seams. They are all mixed in up in my army now and I think they match
@@MediocreHobbies I ment they are done in very different styles from different eras. There is no other way to like them if we want to use them in TOW but this is very wierd design choice. Inconsistent. It is like mixing 1994 chaos dwarfs with FW Legion of Azroth.
