    First video I searched and watched was the one from 7 months ago. Then I happened to see the update one just posted. Hilarious! Just got mine delivered today. Whoop, whoop!

      That is so awesome I guess I had my notifications turned off so I didn’t even see these until today so I thought hey let me make the update because someone asked and I saw a couple people I guess you were included ordered one because they saw the video after finding one at a good price I’m so happy for you! Just remember if it was shipped or transported on its side to keep it upright for 24 hours before plugging in

    Back in the 60s they were phasing out fridges that had latches on the outside for closing the door to the flexible seals used nowadays. Those fridges could be death traps for kids when they were junked, curious kids would get inside and close the doors with no way to open them from the inside. There were even tv commercials warning people to disable the latches when disposing of their refrigerators.

    • @atywood
      @atywood ปีที่แล้ว

      There is no latch on this if somebody were inside, they can push it open easily. It’s just a handle.

    Just a little tip sometimes ice builds up. I just watched a video about it. If you let it defrost and get all the ice out, you may not have to worry about that noise.

  • @johnfiliberti1131

    The reason that the door may be opening is that it may not be level. Check the level and try adjusting the front feet and raise them a bit and the door should close fine. You can screw them up a little until it closes properly.

    • @atywood
      @atywood ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks but not the reason for hasp. I do renovations for a living so checking for level and adjusting is always in my plan (lots of apartments being renovated where I currently live so appliances, showers toilets and other are going into 1920 homes) my issue is that because the door weighs so little anything can get caught in its way or it simply doesn’t have the weight and it won’t seal. That is why I have a hasp. The previous refrigerator had a gasket go bad and needed the Velcro to keep it closed. It’s not that it won’t close. It’s that, it doesn’t always fully closed or some thing gets in the way and keeps it from closing, so Feet adjustment and level cannot fix this problem but thank you, I’m sure somebody could get some thing from that comment.

    I asked a question through the original unboxing video, but thought I should ask here as well. How do you control the freezer temperature? It looks like there is only one control.

    • @atywood
      @atywood 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s only the temp setting inside fridge but it does work well

    Good review. Did it have a sticker on it which said how much per year it costs to operate or the KW's???? I like the design but I noticed the shelves can't be made larger or can they?

    Great fridge! Do you know how many watts it takes? I need to know for power draw. Can’t find this info anywhere. Thanks for sharing this video with us!

    • @atywood
      @atywood ปีที่แล้ว

      So the original video should show the sticker that tells you the yearly energy use of course it’s based on general numbers and I’m sure it’s averaged out but the sticker should be in it and it was posted six months prior. It’s also labeled 7.5 ft.³ I think it’s unboxing.

    • @rainsofhealing
      @rainsofhealing ปีที่แล้ว

      @@atywood thanks. Yeah that’s yearly but they don’t have the immediate power draw. For example, a toaster or hairdryer takes around 1500 watts and a lightbulb 75 watts (or 40, 100 etc.) I have 2 mini fridges and they both have a sticker on the back that says 98 watts, etc. I can’t find this info anywhere but other fridges it’s no problem. My 16.5 cu ft fridge is about 200 watts (draw per day etc NOT the yearly kWh they post on a sticker on the front.) I hope this makes sense. Thanks!

    • @atywood
      @atywood 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      No issues call the company for replacement or return to where you bought for swap out. I have heard a couple times now that sometime people have issues. Did you bring it home lying down or standing? If you moved it laying on its back or side it would need at least 24 hours standing before plugging in for the oil to hopefully return to the condenser and other components. I always keep refrigerators standing to travel with

    Hi 🙋🏻‍♀️! I wrote a comment at your first presentation video if this refrigerator. But, I’m writing here as well. in the bottom of the refrigerator, not in the freezer. Mine is constantly gushing water all over the back wall, inside the refrigerator! this water freezes and thaws dripping down and I wonder if this is normal

    • @atywood
      @atywood 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It should have a small drain at the bottom in the back, if it keeps that water try cooling it down a touch more and see if that helps. Maybe the gasket isn’t sealed well... do you live in a humid area?

    • @lolyschomina396
      @lolyschomina396 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@atywood thanks for answering, I live in San Diego CA. But I returned the refrigerator to Walmart and got another one and this one is doing exactly the same! When I saw the drain hole in the bottom, I understood that this must be the cooling system .

    • @atywood
      @atywood 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not an issue, the condenser does sometimes make a bit more noise than I would like but that’s usually only if I don’t have enough space between refrigerator and wall
