- Hyderabad's Bowenpally Vegetable Market, once just a marketplace, has evolved into an innovative waste-to-power plant, thanks to an initiative by the CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Technology. Every day, the market generates 3-4 tonnes of organic waste, now turned into energy. The waste undergoes a process in high rate biomethanation technology-based Anaerobic Gas lift Reactors, transforming into biofuel through anaerobic digestion. This biofuel is then used in biogas generators to produce up to 800-1,000 units of electricity daily from ten tonnes of waste. The electricity produced is sufficient to power over 100 streetlights, 170 stalls, the market's administrative building, and its water supply network. Additionally, the plant's biogas output is utilized in canteens, substituting about 30 kg of LPG cylinders daily, marking a significant step towards sustainable energy solutions.

This is very nice to listen but difficult to do it first of all vaste of vegetables is wrong management results and waste of money and loss of buyers now comes to electricity generation this way is very expensive electricity will generate with simple and easy ways without any type of fossil fuels sun wind water and biogas also free of cost so it's good but not best management

Delhi mein Waste to Energy Plants waste ko jalake electricity generation karte hain jisse bahot pollution hota hai. Vo waste mixed hota hai plastic ke sath. Agar iski jagah biogas produce Karke electricity generation Kiya jae to usse pollution nahi hoga jaise ki is video mein dikhaya hai
This waste should be given to cow and other animal on road to eat and then their dunk will produce biogas.
