My husband took his own life April 3rd,2022. He shot himself. I feel a kinship to the Judds. I feel their pain and I am broken. I have no idea how to heal. Watching their videos and hearing them talk about depression is helping me so much. God bless.

At 18 I was in High School, my own dear Mother had been diagnosed with Colon Cancer. I was in school 56 days, the rest of the time I took Mom to Chemo and radiation and other Dr. appointments. Every life rolls out before you in different ways. Through out the physical illness, the medicine contradictions, the organ failure, watching her no longer remember things, people, and me. I had a little over 5 years, none of it rolled out instantly, it proceeded at the pace of the Cancer and how and when it took a new path. I was not ready at 18, I was not ready at 25 when she went home to God at 11 days pasted her 66 birthday. I took the best care of her that I could, I had siblings who helped and lived through it but were not living it 24/7; I have never regretted being there for her. And just an aside I did graduate and she was there for me, with me, top third of my class. I am still standing, I walked on and it still affects my life.
Why, you have grown so much. Thank God you have Mr. Moser in your life... and I thank God because he was truly a gift to you.... as I am sure you are to him.So wonderful to see you are a mature , real, feet in the floor adult. Your version of “I can only imagine” is so wonderful. It is truly anointed. You were meant to to sing that song!! Love you, appreciate your talent, and am so happy to see you happy! I hope she can truly drop the baggage and take her place among the strongest female entertainment survivors. I wish she could see herself as the rest of us see her. She's not broken, damaged or bruised. She's a fully-realized survivor put on this planet to lead by example and strength. I know she still has some work to do but she is raw power! Take it. Own it. 2022..... I would love for Wynonna to write another book, from where the other book ended. A lot of things have happened since then. She is an amazing human being and I would love to see and hear her in person. 🎶

I am recovering from alcolism with 4-1/2 years of sobriety after a twenty year bindge and am learning that what she shared is at the root of all alcholics. I am new to Wy by God's direction. About a month, ago, I was looking for my old vocal couch and found her singing one of Wy's songs on You Tube. I felt lead to sing it at an AA talent show next month. This song had deeply touched my heart regarding my own recovery and now see why. ❤

I have always loved this woman, I have purchased every single album, sang every song, loved every time her sound changed. I had to take a step back when you all were talking about being 26/27 and the struggles, I just recently turned 40 (30/10), and if it wasnt for Wynonna, I probably wouldn't be here today. When I was 26 I was in a dark place, I had been working non stop since I was 15, doing work that I hated, just to make everyone else happy. Long story short, as I was contemplating ending it all my playlist I was listening to started playing live with jesus, and I cried, I sang, and I cried some more. Now I am happy, i am working at a place i love, and 1 day I hope to meet wy, just to thank her whether she wants to receive the thanks or not lol. I had tickets for may 1st but unfortunately the concert was canceled. New subscriber!

This blessed me soooo much and for you to say that you lived where you took everything personal is exactly what I have done and I literally removed myself from almost everyone and stepped back to reassess who I am. It is a lot of work to lay down the baggage and sift through it all and toss the garbage and keep the gems. Cactus, you are a true gift from God to Wy as my husband is to me. My experience has simply been accumulating enough failures, getting back up & realizing that is not something I want to do again, then I ask God to help me learn the lesson & His guidance toward being whatever it is He has created me to be & do. Experience is a huge teacher & as we age we continue to acquire more wisdom about the life we have lived & the things we choose to next, especially if we ask God to lead us wherever He wants us to be to do whatever He wants us to. I abandoned myself to God as I understood Him at the time, & each day my understanding grows & I am more available to follow His Will for my life.

One of the most amazing unmatched voices on earth, iconic which will live on in time. So glad you have cut a new album, you truly have a gift that touches so many lives. Yes you have had pain, like everyone. Some pains are worst than others no doubt, but that was yesterday and you have lived to tell letting others know that it was not all roses and it was bad, but God sets everything right and he has rewarded you exceedingly and abundantly above and brought you though. You went through it, you didn't stay in it. Give others that hope and forget about all the junk. Don't give the junk any more time or glory, squelch it. My mom was my best friend, companion, business partner and we fought (especially my teenage years) and loved. The fights didn't matter, we never got mad, or held on to them from moment to moment we just let them go right over our heads and ended up laughing about the things we said. Her mom died when she was 7 and she was raised by a very hard calloused dad. Therefore she was not loving (verbally). I knew she loved me because she was always there and provided. She did tell me a couple of months before she passed she loved me. This relationship was with out a doubt the most perfect love on earth. I was the child and she raised me he best she could , was she perfect probably not, she was very critical as a matter of fact, but hindsight is 20/20 and I couldn't imagine anyone else I'd rather have had the privileged of God placing me with. She put up with my mouth, tantrums and ugliness when I was growing thinking I knew it all. She prayed all the time for me, everyday before I left for school, she laid her hands on me and prayed. I was an accident My mom and dad weren't suppose to have any more children but I showed up. Her pastor told her one Sunday to go home and go to the doctor God had a surprise for her and my Dad..... As I aged and my mom aged we got closer and closer until one day I realized I was becoming the parent and she the child. I thank God everyday for my mom and the most beautiful dance he gave us swirling and twirling through time with her leading me until one day I took the lead and it came full circle. I never had children until my mom needed me to be the mom. Don't be to hard on your mom. She loves you and she may not have gotten everything right but you were thrust into an unbelievable world few could possible fathom how to navigate. Would you have rather gone down that road with anyone else? You both are so talented and LOVE by so many people. Thank you so much for sharing your life with us.

Long story short, as I was contemplating ending it all my playlist I was listening to started playing live with jesus, and I cried, I sang, and I cried some more. Now I am happy, i am working at a place i love, and 1 day I hope to meet wy, just to thank her whether she wants to receive the thanks or not lol. I had tickets for may 1st but unfortunately the concert was canceled. New subscriber!

She is so underrated as a vocalist. Maybe because of her family. I don't mean that in a negative way. Just that Naomi was such a bright light. Ashley the movie star. Even her private life has overshadowed her talent. For me, she is in the same league as her "sheroes" 💜
Wynonna is such a gift to the world. Her authentic self brings great hope to the world. Life is all about sharing our lives together! Unfortunately social media and the smart phones are robbing the world of human connections. We are more alone than ever in human history.

This blessed me soooo much and for you to say that you lived where you took everything personal is exactly what I have done and I literally removed myself from almost everyone and stepped back to reassess who I am. It is a lot of work to lay down the baggage and sift through it all and toss the garbage and keep the gems. Cactus, you are a true gift from God to Wy as my husband is to me. He softens me and loves me through the ugly times as well and the good times. This was a fantastic interview. Thank you. :0)

Wynonna, I so identify from where you are coming from. Omg, I can’t believe it. Share the same feelings, I’ve been a perfectionist, don’t accept compliments, I too see them as projections (this is unbelievable). When you mentioned that ppl are not normal, I could not agree with you more. I understand that this video was created years ago and perhaps you changed; as a result of your husband walking with you on your journey. I agree, Cactus is a real blessing in your life. I love Wynonna! I saw her in concert in September 2019 and it was a dream come true. She is one special lady! Cactus let me come up on stage to give Wynonna a gift. Special guy and he must have known how bad I wanted to meet her. I got a hug and all :) BEST DAY EVER!

My experience has simply been accumulating enough failures, getting back up & realizing that is not something I want to do again, then I ask God to help me learn the lesson & His guidance toward being whatever it is He has created me to be & do. Experience is a huge teacher & as we age we continue to acquire more wisdom about the life we have lived & the things we choose to next, especially if we ask God to lead us wherever He wants us to be to do whatever He wants us to. I abandoned myself to God as I understood Him at the time, & each day my understanding grows & I am more available to follow His Will for my life.

One of the most amazing unmatched voices on earth, iconic which will live on in time. So glad you have cut a new album, you truly have a gift that touches so many lives. Yes you have had pain, like everyone. Some pains are worst than others no doubt, but that was yesterday and you have lived to tell letting others know that it was not all roses and it was bad, but God sets everything right and he has rewarded you exceedingly and abundantly above and brought you though. You went through it, you didn't stay in it. Give others that hope and forget about all the junk. Don't give the junk any more time or glory, squelch it. My mom was my best friend, companion, business partner and we fought (especially my teenage years) and loved. The fights didn't matter, we never got mad, or held on to them from moment to moment we just let them go right over our heads and ended up laughing about the things we said. Her mom died when she was 7 and she was raised by a very hard calloused dad. Therefore she was not loving (verbally). I knew she loved me because she was always there and provided. She did tell me a couple of months before she passed she loved me. This relationship was with out a doubt the most perfect love on earth. I was the child and she raised me he best she could , was she perfect probably not, she was very critical as a matter of fact, but hindsight is 20/20 and I couldn't imagine anyone else I'd rather have had the privileged of God placing me with. She put up with my mouth, tantrums and ugliness when I was growing thinking I knew it all. She prayed all the time for me, everyday before I left for school, she laid her hands on me and prayed. I was an accident My mom and dad weren't suppose to have any more children but I showed up. Her pastor told her one Sunday to go home and go to the doctor God had a surprise for her and my Dad..... As I aged and my mom aged we got closer and closer until one day I realized I was becoming the parent and she the child. I thank God everyday for my mom and the most beautiful dance he gave us swirling and twirling through time with her leading me until one day I took the lead and it came full circle. I never had children until my mom needed me to be the mom. Don't be to hard on your mom. She loves you and she may not have gotten everything right but you were thrust into an unbelievable world few could possible fathom how to navigate. Would you have rather gone down that road with anyone else? You both are so talented and LOVE by so many people. Thank you so much for sharing your life with us.

AN ABSOLUTE WOW!!! Yahweh has done so much in her life. I am so happy for her. She has found peace. I so wished Naomi would have found this peace, joy and contentment. Maybe if she would have let Wy hold the reigns some she could've overcome some of the metal illness that plagued her. I pray she continues to grow more and more in the knowledge of the Savior. I am so happy for her.

Wonderful interview. I heard Don Potter speak many years ago about when he use to play guitar with Wynonna, when she would sing "I can only imagine," the anointing was strong a d people were so touched and ministered to that were not believers. I love that she has her own style and sound that is powerful yet simply Wynonna.
