Good video. I wonder if those use a string of seed pixels inside of them? I've seen some people use seed pixels in vinyl tube to make pixel rope light.
That's a great question, I was actually tempted to cut it open to take a look inside and see. I suspect you are correct though seeing as the LEDs are visible 360 degrees around the rope.
these would be great to cover my AIO tubes but can the be split lengthwise and come in a short enough length, they probably already have kit made for this though

I don't think it could be successfully split without damaging the strand of LEDs inside.
where does the noble gas Neon enter into this device?
Lol, I think it's called Neon as it has a similar effect to a Neon tube, but without the need for a noble gas.
nice rope light... lol rave
You know it!
here I was waiting for the scissors.......
Lol, I so want to cut it open, I will trim it though where it looks tatty
To be accurate , that is a power source, not a charger.
Lol, thanks. Advertised as a phone charger, however in this case most definitely a power source.
@@mybritishcomputerguy this kind of misidentification is ubiquitous, even manufacturers. As a 40 year tech, I am a bit anal. :-)
Apparently! lol @@rickharms1
