The simplest way to calculate hybridization of carbon is to calculate the no of sigma bonds..... >Like sigma 2 then sp if 3 then sp^2and if 4 then sp3....its that simple
Questions is C having 2 double bond than answer will be sp... for hybridization we count only sigma bond here there is 2 sigma bond and 2 pi bond hence answer will be sp.

In benzyne the hydridisation of triple bonded carbon is sp2,bcz in triple bond the second π bond is formed by direct overlapping of hybrid sp2 orbital.

It will definitely be sp2 because when we break triple bond at one carbon thier is positive charge and at the other carbon thier is negavtive charge nd that charges will take part in resonace and we know positive nd negative charges taking part in resomance have sp2 hybridisation also sp is not possible bcz then geometry will be planer nd bond will break so bond will not exist which is not possible
