बिहार की बात करे तो वहा की खेती थोड़ा ढंग अगल है कि वहा खेतो में बर्ष में एक बार चावल की खेती होती है बाकि के समय में अन्य फसलों को जैसे गेंहू सरसों चना आदि लगाया जाता है। यहां के खेतो में बर्ष भर पानी जमा नहीं रहता।
हम तो बिना सिंचाई के ही धान पैदा करते हैं कभी कभी जब सूखे जैसे हालात पैदा हो जाते हैं तो हम एक दो बार सिंचाई करते हैं वो भी जब धान में बालियां निकलने वाली हो तब एक या दो सिंचाई करने से धान का बहुत अच्छा उत्पादन ले सकते हैं
