Its hard (or impossible) to put into words, just how important this information is, on many levels.
Megan and Tristin delve lightly, but most meaningfully, into the psychological side of a range of challenges that not only new Jewelers, but any artist faces when their passion for their craft organically evolves into a business.
Anyone in business or even just in their normal life could benefit from listening to this and part two.
    Thank you both, most sincerely.

Thanks so much for your super kind words!! Glad you enjoyed it! I so strongly believe that we are only as capable as we allow ourselves to be! I have learnt a lot from Tristin over the years and also just through my own exploration into the topic of mindset!! I LOVE self development!

Wow! I love this so much. Sometimes we fear success because we were quashed when you were young from so many directions. (which you cover) Pricing is hard. I've sold to a gallery, and of course business' want to make at least 100% , but they don't think people will buy something for double what you, the artist, need for your work & time. AND... that "Artsy Fartsy" statement is sometimes a jealousy. Thank you so much for sharing!

A fantastic book on being creative that explores these topics and ideas is Big Magic by Liz Gilbert (she wrote Eat, Pray,Love). It's a fast and funny read! Very freeing about being creative/artist. Great video, Megan! 🌺

That "arty-farty" label! Wonder if this is more a South African attitude? I got that a lot from my family and was the main reason I avoided being an artist. Great thoughts and input, thank you! 🥰

Yup! It's huge!! I think its not just SA though. The arts are always seen as "less important" and it's a huge hurdle we have to get over. But it can be done! ❤️

☺️ We get that a lot! The other day we were on the beach and someone asked us if we were twins even. She is my soul sister 🥰 🫶
