anyone can wear Dastaar/Turban. It is not binded to only Sikhs. You can also wear it. The most impotant thing is to respect Dastaar.
In old days my grandfather(Baapu Ji) had his Panjabi Hindu family friends who always wear Dastaars. My grandfather and his friends migrated during partition time. Though they were hindus but kept their beard and mustaches. They didn't even trim. My baapu ji and his friends spent their whole life as brothers. We are third generations but still in touch with those families.
