The music used for the prize description was my personal fav.
3:03... Cue in the *5th game win* music from Tic Tac Dough.
This is good! I watched this when it originally aired.
What a game that really was!
I recall this from years ago
6:55... "Bonus round win" from Tic Tac Dough.
One thing Kline could've done on TJW '90 was have some kind of "Big winners' special" or something like that involving Eileen, Hal Shear, Joe Dunn, Frank Dillon, and anyone else who did remarkably well on classic TJW. Heck, TJW '90s biggest winner, Thomas Van Dyke, would be a welcome addition to that kind of concept.
This is the dont fuck with Jack moment
$39,500 pretty good total on the jokers wild and now Eileen Jason just made history as a first woman ever to win it all!!
Eileen was like "Lucky Suit Al," down and nearly out, but pulls off a three joker spin to win the game.
I was thinking Ray was going to win until Eileen pulled a Hal Shear.
@SaleGuy
I think I can arrange that, since I'll be getting that episode soon.
Natural triple!
The joker's wild
0:32.. Cue in TPiR "Big Banana."
oh my lady luck
Those totals Jack mentioned do not include TofC winnings, as Joker had already had a $50K and $100K TofC prior to this one.
Did she have to donate any winnings to charity, wasn't the TJW Syndie on a network station in 1979?
@juan833blue Not as Dramatic Hal Sheers run. He was very close to losing the game his competeter already had $500 and he needed Three Jokers in a Row. When he got three Jokers in a row it was just shocking.
4:50... Cue in TPiR "Splendido."
@tnawcwvictoria Who's the biggest male winner on Bullseye then?
Who did Eileen eventually lose to? I believe that Joe Dunn is the only Joker's Wild Champ to retire undefeated and the biggest money winner, although he donated some of his winnings to the United Cerebal Palsy Association.
Joe was forced to donate to charity,. as Joker's airing on WCBS from 1981-84 forced players to retire at $50K. CBS and Barry and Enright decided to let Joe keep $50K. Joe had won $66,200.
@@zachhoran Which ironically lowered his tax bill quite a bit I'm sure if not eliminated it.
dumb boyiam WCBS was the only CBS O&O to have aired Joker’s Wild and Tic Tac Dough at the time, which explains this (Los Angeles and Chicago saw them on KCOP -- where both shows were produced -- and WFLD respectively).
eileen won with three jokers in her very first game I do belive
Eileen Jason from The Joker's Wild vs. Donna Burke from BULLSEYE
A DREAM Match
The Biggest Female Winner on The Joker's Wild vs. The Biggest Female Winner on BULLSEYE
that was great
I thought Ray had it because he was ahead of Eileen score wise.
The natural triple rule needs to be in Snoop's version. It has happened but does not trigger a $25K win.
new world record
zoycener is his last name
@johnissoevil That's epic!
Pure luck
Has anyone in the past ever investigated this game show? This lady was about to lose and how ironic she got 3 jokers... Hmmmmm
There WOULD have been investigations if the staff were suspicious about any wrongdoing.
OK, so the cue they played with the car brings to mind a goofup that would've been funny: "Some of our contestants will receive A BRAND NEW CAR!"
"My fantasy the invisible-troupe my cousin greg-winslow & myself @ home inside the abandoned acme-market on route-61 in shamokin land of messopotamia northumberland-county ioml".
$39,500 if that was me I would shit my panit
"The joker's wild live from the abandoned acme-market on route-61 in shamokin land of messopotamia northumberland-county ioml"
$39,500?
Erase my comment in part 1, I got my answer
And when we watched Tic Tac Dough, we saw Mary Ellen Driscoll came close to Eileen Jason in Female Winners records, but got defeated and left with $53,450 in cash and prizes.
Eileen is a female Hal sheer
Eileen Jason has just pull a Hal Shear spining three Joker's and win and made history on one show.
Great episode! Thanks for posting it. At 6:57, Jack Barry seems genuinely overjoyed for this victorious contestant and I always feel good watching this moment. That spontaneous hug and burst of excitement after that "natural triple" say it all! RIP Jack Barry and Bill Cullen
