Hope you enjoy it! You can also try replacing the top guns with distortion repeaters for some interesting results, although they've been a bit nerfed recently
@@Ry1bw Heavy Fighters are in kind of a rough spot right now, especially if only one-manned. The arrow will absolutely outmaneuver any Heavy Fighter in the game right now, but something like a Hurricane or Scorpius with the turret manned, will be very dangerous as the turret can keep up with you much better than the pilot can.
Thanks for the tips, I used everything the same apart from I used fixed size three CF repeaters for the wings. I like the satisfying feeling I get knowing that it was my aiming and flying that got the kill rather than auto aim
I typically never actually use the gimbals even if I have them equipped. Using the smaller size guns pretty much gives you more shots before needing to recharge and faster recharge times, which really comes more down to personal preference than anything
The JS-300 and the Palisade have the same health pool, but the Palisade has better resistance to ballistics. Because the Arrow is so frail, I think it's better to have that extra resistance to ballistics to keep you alive longer
I have been following your builds and loved the one on my Titan and now my Arrow feels punchy too. Could you do a Cutlass black guide? It's the only other ship in my fleet and I have no idea how to go about component selection.
Could you go into how you are deciding on different components? Like for some of them, why aren’t you going grade A? Or for others, why industrial vs military?
In this game you have to keep track of power consumption and dps per second because you could have a really powerful weapon but if you can't do alot of damage then it's not worth it. Plus some weapons don't fit on the ship
I don't currently have a guide for the 325a, but the components are almost identical to the Avenger Titan! Check out my guide on that ship for some ideas on how to outfit your 325a!
It's definitely an option, however the Arrow has pretty small capacitors, so larger weapons will have a lot less shots per charge, and charge slower. You can try experimenting and see what feels best for you, but for me personally I like to keep the smaller weapons because the capacitor load feels a bit nicer at that size for my tastes.
@@nickcalderone1937 with Cannons you do have to remember that your projectiles travel very slowly, which makes it much more difficult to hit fast movers or skilled pilots

Missile racks are a bit finnicky, you need to make sure you have the correct size of rack and you can only have one type of missile on each rack. Try removing all missiles from the rack and see if that helps.
@@AstralGemini to he honest at the time i was asking the question i just didn't buy missiles... I just thought a missile rack automatically comes with its individual missiles 😂 so yeah sorry for that lol
Its personal preference, basically keeping the weapons sized down gives you slightly lower dps but more shots before needing to recharge, which is nice if you don't have very good aim xD. Since this is a starter ship I've tailored most of these component guides towards being new-player friendly and after some testing of multiple loadouts, the extra shots felt better for an inexperienced pilot
@@AstralGemini Oh, I only just started playing Star Citizen a week ago. I would say that I'm inexperienced at best. However, knowing what I do know about algorithmically based targeting systems both IRL and in video games, and the fact that they're absolute trash, I would highly recommend that anyone, ESPECIALLY newer pilots, run their gimbal mounted weapons locked and focus on ship positioning to get their hits. Yes, the game happens to be in a burst meta right now and having a crap ton of smaller weapons can be devastating, "Death by 1000 Cuts", so I'll concede to that argument. However, I still would recommend, as a newer player myself, that you don't rely on the computer to land your shots.
Oh, yeah, I would never recommend actually USING the autogimbals, they're terrible. Just keeping the weapons sized down for the extra shots from the capacitor charge.
@@AstralGemini I do take it a step further and turn off ESP. I might be insane, but if I can "git gud" without any crutches, I feel it'll benefit greater in the long run.

Just attempting PS, and these upgrades have given me a much needed boost. Kudos
Great guide, you should do a Freelancer MAX build for the newbie traders trying to fight off pirates
I have a Freelancer guide coming soon!!
awesome guide man, I punch through the bounties so much easier now, thanks!
Glad I could help!
Just bought this fella last night. appreciate the guides. going to try your loadout before testing with other cannons/styles

Your thumbnail somehow makes the Arrow look like a badass Arrow-Hornet hybrid somehow.
Hello. thanks for your video, one question, wouldn't it be better to equip the FR-66 and the JS-300?

Great tutorial on for the Arrow, ship is way better now with all these parts especially the quantum drive. Stock quantum drive was complete dooky.
Upgraded the guns to repeaters and that makes a world of a difference. Now I just need to git gud at flying
Don't we all?

would a neutron/distortion repeater setup also work for the arrow?
Yeah it should work ok, distortion is better for PVP than PVE so keep that in mind

But can you buy about, anything? I mean, I can't buy a repeater that fits a Constellation to an Arrow. Does the game has a size limit?
All components have a specific size, like the arrow uses size 1 and 2 guns while the Connie uses size 4. It depends on the size of the hardpoints

you need to buy everything again if you crash right?
Nope! it all persists, all you need to do is claim your ship and it'll spawn just like it was before it was destroyed!

they can usually be found on page 2 of the component list at the Centermass at New Babbage
