Howlet's work stands out from the crowd. These drums... man...these drums... the youtube limitation is simply not long enough to rant about how good they are.
The Prodigy- легенда! Их вклад в развитие и популиризацию электронной музыки, просто гигантский. Я счастлива, что мне удалось увидеть их живьём. The Prodigy- Это любовь навсегда!
Had this as my ringtone and kenny's cat sample as message notification sound a while back, it often sparked a few laughs 😂 my dad was obsessed with the prodigy back in 90s and have it blasting away in the car when collecting us from school. Good times!
OMG this song is classic hardcore breakbeat like the rest of the album, and not D'nB not even jungle which was nowhere at that time. Prodigy never made any D'nB tracks they originated of hardcore and later became the pioneers of big beat.
to all those who like to think they know something, why don't you go and listen to stuff you actually like?!? for me this album is the only prodigy album, it defined our generation. i see them at labrynths 3rd birthday at bagleys in 93, the good old days never fade from your memory no matter how many e's you necked. good times
It's funny how three of the album's singles were in remixed versions on the album itself, so you had to get the singles (or Experience Expanded) if you wanted them. Wind It Up was the exact opposite, then, with the remix being a single, lol! What a puzzle.
PRODIGY RULES!!!!!! No offense for the other artists but these guys are the Mohammed Ali, the living LEGENDS!!! RESPECT YA ALL!!!! Keep up the GOOD work!!!!
That was only featured on the Alley Cat Remix on the Charly Single which came out in 1991. The Charly on Experience is the Trip Into Drum and Bass version.
Bassjakka Official that's how I started listening to Prodigy my stepdad played it all the time in his car. I must of been about 7/8 yrs old. let the young ones of today know what REAL music is. x
I know you asked this 'kin months ago but the connection between the Prodigy and English Dogs was Jilted Generation had Gizz Butt on guitar for a few tracks.
@wizenhiemr They really set the bar really high and when Music For The Jilted Generation came out it just solidified them. Nobody in my view could come close to what the Prodigy did with their first two albums.
@RevengeofShinobi1 Actually, I think it was the original version of this song that was the reason people blame them. This got popular, then so did a rave version of the Sesame Street theme, and the Sesame Street one inspired a bunch of copycat songs people called Toytown techno.
@smileegee They did the same in the SF Bay Area years later ~2000; Oakland in the 90's had the most awesome massives in warehouses with very little crime.
yeah but breakbeat was pretty much one of the foundations of drum and bass, so the 'trip into drum and bass' could have some reference to that, who knows haha
Thanks for the update and for some reason and then you will have to get back to work tomorrow and then we will have some good some of your work day for the next few days and then you can just leave the next day or two before you leave the house and then you can just leave it in the office tomorrow morning and will have the next day or two to get back on track with the update I appreciate you
Prodigy are possibly the greatest thing Great Britain gave the world ❤
Got to see them once at ally pally or maybe Brixton sweatbox academy. Absolutely banging like a fucking rave off your tits on gear and pills 😂
One of the greatest things, as there are also: Queen, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath... :)
Richard d.James ,David .Bowie and Shaun the sheep disagree
The steam engine and therfore the industrial era.
But do f*cking love The Prodigy though, so I get what you are saying.
RIP Keith Flint.
Aphex twin as well - he’s a national treasure, as the British would say !!!
God, it's still sooooo good, even today!
Howlet's work stands out from the crowd.
These drums... man...these drums... the youtube limitation is simply not long enough to rant about how good they are.
Best song to test out new audio equipment.
And X-Cops. So much bass I have to turn my levels down ♡
had this playing in '92-'93 on two 15"'s
bass was thick
Liam created unbelievable timeless sound. Genius
The Prodigy- легенда!
Ahhhhhh reminds me of my youth......late nights falling asleep on the desk at college....more late nights...red green and purple 😂
Bassline is grinding all the time !
Had this as my ringtone and kenny's cat sample as message notification sound a while back, it often sparked a few laughs 😂 my dad was obsessed with the prodigy back in 90s and have it blasting away in the car when collecting us from school. Good times!
What a f****** choon, still gives me goose pimples all these years later, and they are still touring! nice one prodigy!
Is it just me who prefers this version to the original?
+Euan E nah, me too!!!
Yeah me too! 😺
+Euan E
NO!
OMG this song is classic hardcore breakbeat like the rest of the album, and not D'nB not even jungle which was nowhere at that time. Prodigy never made any D'nB tracks they originated of hardcore and later became the pioneers of big beat.
Nope, I'm not sure I even like the original, while I had this version on repeat back then.
CHARLY SAYS BASS , CHARLY SAYS DRUM
..a little bit of bass...
@@phero2 a little bit of rass
Does also say this in the tune before the silence @@phero2
It says little bit of drums not rass@@TheGlovener1985
@@VertRampHD it's the way he says it then. It's like "drams". Not sure how i hear rass and can also hear drams
Why in the hell they deleted this from Spotify? Uncleared sample?
Mad that it's taken this long, if so!
Used to role out of college on a friday with this pumping out the 6x9s feeling like a proper badass.
Still bangin in 2024, always tell your mummy!
I remember when my daughter was little she used to call this the Kitty Song
2024 going to 2025 still fresh as FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
School bus this on loop =a good day at school
to all those who like to think they know something, why don't you go and listen to stuff you actually like?!? for me this album is the only prodigy album, it defined our generation. i see them at labrynths 3rd birthday at bagleys in 93, the good old days never fade from your memory no matter how many e's you necked. good times

I cant believe they took this off spotify
maaan i was 15.. no wonder i still love dnb
À la télé ça roule ! .. comme des " fous " .
.. heureusement j'ai du bon son !! . 🎶👍💙
A guy with a puppy once approached me and asked if I wanted to come back to his house and listen to the prodigy!
...and did you?!
Yeah what happened? Did you smoke some banana peels with him?
How old were you at the time?
Is he now locked up for numerous counts of thuggery and buggery?
Please tell us!
M@B are u a ghost?
🤔

Charly and Everybody in the place were already remixed for the singles so these versions are essentially remixes of remixes
What a jam! Didn't know this version.
PRODIGY RULES!!!!!!
No offense for the other artists but these guys are the Mohammed Ali, the living LEGENDS!!! RESPECT YA ALL!!!! Keep up the GOOD work!!!!
one off the classics
Tive o praZer imenso de ver duas vezes esses monstros aqui no Brasil!
When the bass is so low, the encoding cant keep up! Damn, took ages to find this, need it on spotify
Ah, the old days when this kind of music was on the radio. 2:46 to 3:27 would always send me to the moon.
Love always!
What a drumloop
indeed :D
"A little bit of bass, a little bit of bounce."
The people who hated it!! Will never understand proper 90's old skool music
Fkn Prodigy kicks ass & still 2 this day. Learnt mad dance styles frm these lads.....
Charly says always tell mum before you go out somewhere
Why has this been taken off Spotify!?
Ha. I had the same question. I thought I was going crazy. Could not find this.
This is sick!! 🎉💣💥🔥🕺 Peace ✌🏼 in 2024!! ☮️ No more war
1:50 i must dance! In
Tushaw class album still got the head for it still
Might still be my favorite just because the slip is sooooo hard

just letting my 6 yr old listen to all these album trax as he recognises "your love" from call of duty zombies redwood map lol

Charly says I'm 12 and watching this, I'm a big fan of the prodigy
Legendary, even when its slightly ruined by shitty youtube
im like listening to this amazing genius and thinking f... songs used to last 4 and half minutes
the drums of Liam....the fucking king
+serantes1375 Its a drum machine.it does not require a lot of talent to operate it
+leon floyd u do it then
It required tremendous amounts of talent doing what Howlett did back in his day. The equipment back then was mostly awful and unreliable.
+leon floyd dumbest comment I've seen all week
leon floyd it may be all synthesized and not "real" but my god is your comment stupid. You try doing this :P
под музыку шедеврально - ти га ка тика ти га ри ка ти га ка тика ти га ри ка .........
Tune !
buy a damn CD for ten bucks... get the bass in Charly frequency... dope
plus give the guys a royalty. one of the best ever.
got it.
still up there, still relevant
This is one is an old school classic drum & bass it’s better
love from ROMEEEEEEE
The assholes removed this song from spotify 😢
2:21 "The bass test" does this version work alight for everyone else? My speakers and headphone failed.
th-cam.com/video/aX_ML15LY3Y/w-d-xo.html
I think some of your bass is missing at 2:35 mate...Checked with some other YT vid and it's there..
yuotube compression cut out the low frequency lol
This
wow! Never knew it was THAT bad. I've always questioned people 100% listening to YT (instead of collecting proper Flac/V0).
Starts like an amazing ragga anthem
this is a beat monster!
I know you asked this 'kin months ago but the connection between the Prodigy and English Dogs was Jilted Generation had Gizz Butt on guitar for a few tracks.
Epic ! ;d
Damn im old.

Charly says : Always tell your mommy before you go off somewhere yeaaaaaaaahhh!
Nice...
🖤❤️💛💙💚
🌈💙
at the height of ardcore before it went shite in 93 and jungle had to save it and then mutate again into d+b
This is my favourite the low bass really tests your speakers! only decent setups play this properly
This is why I use THIS song for testing new sound equipment! And my crappy earphones just spazzed out in the middle part, lol
Meow ow ow Meow~
@wizenhiemr They really set the bar really high and when Music For The Jilted Generation came out it just solidified them. Nobody in my view could come close to what the Prodigy did with their first two albums.
Charly says DON’T TALK TO NO FUCKING STRANGERS 🔉🎶🎹🙌🏻🥴

Anyone know that it was Kenny Everett who voiced Charly the Cat? =O)
Ha ha. Spot on. The scene wasn't good enough for them. These boys took it to pieces.
