Maybe they still wanted to perform because they were thinking about those fans that spent all their savings to see their show. Artists can be passionate about their job and I'm sure I-dle love their fans and wanted to perform as much as their fans wanted to see them.
So they weren't even performing live. Kpop fans just showed up to watch their faves lip sync and attempt to perform choreo without slipping while getting typhoon-level rain and even hail dumped on them. And then some of the fans racially abused Korean attendees. What a mess. This concert should have been postponed.

Every now and then you can hear them shout over the backing track/recording, and Soyeon seems to do her rap break live, but that's pretty much it (at least for this song/performance). For those singing parts, you don't hear any breaks or syllables cut short due to diaphragm movements, any breathing, any variance in the loudness/softness of the different vocals - in short, any of the telltale signs of a true live that would be absolutely apparent in an outdoor concert like this, especially in these conditions. At the end, Soyeon doesn't even have the mic to her mouth during her final part as she's helping Shuhua, and you can hear how loud the backing recording is, even for rap parts. I have been a casual Kpop fan for over 12 years now, and know the difference between live and pre-recorded lives/backing track-dominated performances/lip syncing: fully live Kpop performances are _easily_ distinguishable from ones like these, no matter how good the live performers are (as a SHINee fan, I'm telling you _I know_ lol). Any casual (G)I-dle fans knows they're a group capable of doing full-on lives, but they're just not doing so here for whatever reason. Idk why some Kpop fans like you think doubling down and insisting on what's obviously not true accomplishes anything except making Kpop fans look foolish and unaccustomed to actual live, unvarnished performances.
How could they perform live if the rain is that heavy? probably mics are turned off due to safety precautions, to prevent the girls from being electrocuted I guess?concerts like this have been planned for months its not easy to just cancel it, a lot of time and money has been spent on with that specific da, staffs need to make ways to get the show going, and it doest matter if the performance is live in this kind of situation at least they gave their maximum effort to perform face to face with their fans, and by the years you’ve been in kpop you should know that the show must go on even if its raining, this is not the only time idols got wet while performing🙊

So they weren't even performing live. Kpop fans just showed up to watch their faves lip sync and attempt to perform choreo without slipping while getting typhoon-level rain and even hail dumped on them. And then some of the fans racially abused Korean attendees. What a mess. This concert should have been postponed.
GET OUT OF HERE they always sing live check their other performances they all have powerful vocals and stop hating without a reason! plus it was heavy raining here and they managed it really well you didn't even see the other videos everyone was scared that something bad will happen to the girls and all you do is commenting rude and shitty opinions
@@neviemy Lol, of all the things in my comment to zero in on and get bent out of shape over. But no, most of this is clearly not live, particularly the singing parts. Every now and then you can hear them shout over the backing track/recording, and Soyeon seems to do her rap break live, but that's pretty much it (at least for this song/performance). For those singing parts, you don't hear any breaks or syllables cut short due to diaphragm movements, any breathing, any variance in the loudness/softness of the different vocals - in short, any of the telltale signs of a true live that would be absolutely apparent in an outdoor concert like this, especially in these conditions. At the end, Soyeon doesn't even have the mic to her mouth during her final part as she's helping Shuhua, and you can hear how loud the backing recording is, even for rap parts. I have been a casual Kpop fan for over 12 years now, and know the difference between live and pre-recorded lives/backing track-dominated performances/lip syncing: fully live Kpop performances are _easily_ distinguishable from ones like these, no matter how good the live performers are (as a SHINee fan, I'm telling you _I know_ lol). Any casual (G)I-dle fans knows they're a group capable of doing full-on lives, but they're just not doing so here for whatever reason. Idk why some Kpop fans like you think doubling down and insisting on what's obviously not true accomplishes anything except making Kpop fans look foolish and unaccustomed to actual live, unvarnished performances.
How could they perform live if the rain is that heavy? probably mics are turned off due to safety precautions, to prevent the girls from being electrocuted I guess?concerts like this have been planned for months its not easy to just cancel it, a lot of time and money has been spent on with that specific da, staffs need to make ways to get the show going, and it doest matter if the performance is live in this kind of situation at least they gave their maximum effort to perform face to face with their fans, and by the years you’ve been in kpop you should know that the show must go on even if its raining, this is not the only time idols got wet while performing🙊
