I'm not a gore hound. My favourite films are Sunset Boulevarde, Dogs In Space and Texas Chainsaw Massacre. No gore. But Leone does gore in a way that just punches me up. I love him. Hate Saw gore, love Terrifier gore. He just has a one-inch punch. And regarding marketing - man, there wasn't much ever. There was just this amazing character in AHE that everyone wanted more of. Leone delivered really well via last episode in AHE, then the Terrifier movie. It was just good. That's all it was. Now it's huge for Terrifier 3, eveyone is talking about marketing, but it's just fans who are spreading the vibe. Horror fans love good work. This is good work.
@@seanmaher2987 thank you for the comment! I totally see where you are coming from with the differences from the Saw franchise and how Damien does it. Never thought of it like that but it’s true. I think it’s amazing how much people loved that character from his short films and early films to the point where a lot of the money used on T1 and T2 was from fans! I’m excited to see where his career takes him!
I agree that horror movies are more fun when there are good characters. I can do without the gore, I lean more towards movies that are more fun and that have more personality!
