Hi sid, thanks that was interesting,I as you may know I have a 42lb covert hunter, the longer I own it the more I like it,thank you for your design, just beautiful,,! Fred,nz
Really great info here. Is it possible to come up to the shop for in-person testing? I'll be relocating to North Yorkshire in a couple of weeks, so a few hours' drive would be easy.
Can you talk about your 25 inch tempest riser with the cv 9 limbs for Olympic style shooting, please Tom Lund. What would the best combination of limb length be for various draw lengths.
The sound is MUCH improved. I commented on one of your earlier videos because the sound became almost inaudible when you turned away or distanced yourself from the mic. You'd need a very good mic to pick up a voice 50 yards away. 🤣. A question about my much loved Border Viper bow. I purchased this 2nd hand in 2004 and once emailed you about the model as I only knew about the Black Douglas at the time. I printed your reply but lost it in a house move. I seem to remember you said you saying 75 or 80 Vipers were produced as a special order for an Italian dealer with a handful kept back to sell in the UK. Is this correct ? Other than my own, I've only seen two Vipers for sale during 20 years of ownership.
The viper and hornet were before my time. The newer one was released as a cheaper version of the BD. As it had the simple front mounted limbs everyone else does. But it never really sold. So no point in keeping it
@@BorderArcheryLTD It's one of my most cherished possessions, still in as new condition without mark or blemish. It won 4 events in its first club open competition with 'Highest score', 'Best Gold', 'Speed shoot' and 'Barebow'. I'm keeping the magic Viper forever. A testament to the finest quality craftsmanship in the country.
I am a Korean archer who has been interested in Covert Hunter for a long time. We also have a dealer in Korea. If there is a request to make the tip wooden, could you accept it?
We deal with most countries directly, we have a dealer in France, and 2 in Germany. That's all. Send us a email carol@borderbows.com and we can answer your questions there
And can't you make it by attaching a layer of wood on top of carbon? Since it is a traditional bow, I think it would be more suitable to have a tree feel.
@@파닥파닥물고기 we don't use any glass fiber. Our limbs are not glass limbs marketed at carbon limbs. They are genuinely carbon. And carbon only comes in black. So afraid not

Love the look of your bows and your vast knowledge trying to save my pennies so I can get one 🏹
The Covert Hunter is one of the bows I'm most fascinated with. Hopefully, someday I'll be able to get on that list.
Superbe vidéo, beaucoup d informations intéressantes 😌
Those are some cool bows. I would be interested to see you do some chronograph testing with them.

If we have a spec that suits, yes

Your web site seems to be broken and your downloadable PDFs come out as gibberish.
Some browsers can't handle the .html on the end of the pdf links. Just delete that portion and they will load for you
