I’m 14 and I can’t even imagine doing something like that. I was around her age when I realised the way we were being treated and I remember feeling hurt and sad about it. She is so incredible and so strong for doing this.

I've come here today to talk about how I feel and I feel like we are treated differently than other people.
And I don't like how we're treated just because of our colour, that doesn't mean anything to me.
I believe that we are black people and we shouldn't have to feel like this. We shouldn't have to protest because y'all are treating us wrong.
WE do this because we need to and have rights.
I was born and raised in Charlotte and I never felt this was until now and I can't stand how we're treated.
It's a shame that our fathers and mothers are killed and we can't even see them anymore.
It's a shame that we have to go to the graveyard and bury them.
And we have tears and we shouldn't have tears.
We need our fathers and mothers to be by our sides.
And I'm mad.

I found myself holding my breath because the sheer power of her message and delivery was suffocating me, I had to remind myself to breath which these days feels more like a luxury not the god given right that it is. She is so strong for going up there and saying what needed to be said.

No little girl or boy should not have to go through all of this racism at an early age. After what Ruby Bridges went through trying to get an education. I mean children should have a education and learn to play with others. After seeing this little girl taking the courage to speak up. I was literally crying with her. I do agree no child shouldn't have bury their parents at a early age. It's bad enough I lost my mother in her 50s and I was 13 years old. Now I am 31 years old, it's been 2 years when my father passed away. It's very very painful to deal with all this craziness. 2020 is not a great year at all. All I know is that I've done my part voting. I am a law abiding citizen for Christ sake. I don't want to risk my life trying to protest because I've witnessed on the news people getting killed and or arrested. And I am not going down like that. I hope next year in God's will be better than this year. I am not saying I'm tired of living but I want to survive. Keep on surviving until I get to an older age. I want to live at least I reach 100 years old.
