Details on the NEW Chewjitsu Gi by Origin

- A lot of you have been asking me when the Black and Green Chewjitsu gis were going to be available. Well they're available for pre order now. In the video I'll give you a review of the 2018 Origin Atleta as well as giving you the details on the new Chewjitsu gi.
Couple of details on it.
It's a pre order than ends on May 21st.
You can order the Black and Green version or a classic white version.
You'll need to order your top and pants before you checkout on the website.
Because it's a pre-order it'll take about 4 weeks to produce the gi and then they'll be shipped out.
The gi is based on the comp atleta gi from Origin.

It's just me, but as a white belt with a month and a half of jiu jitsu training, I felt weird about ordering a black kimono. But black and green are my two favorite colors, and I ordered one anyway. As a 49 year old jutiteiro, I'm probably set for life with this kimono and the Flows I have. Looking forward to putting this to good use!

@@Chewjitsu : I know that I will. I have had two Axiom gis for over five years and then are going strong. Plus, the green and black is *sharp*.
I've had the Pro pants for 2 years and JUST now learned that you can unbuckle the belt.🤦
I thought it was just designed like that to swivel as you roll...another lesson from Chewy.

I rotate 2 origin gi's, and while they are expensive they are 100% worth it. It's a bathrobe to be choked out in!

Negative currently 18 months in 5 to 6 days a week I beat ALL of my blue belts 80 percent of the time no blue belt but still going strong
i hope i get one of these Gi's one day. My favorite podcast and channel to watch just happens to also rep Gi's from my home state. Really adds to the pride of repping my favorite BJJ content creator and a Gi made in my home state!

Just received my Chewjitsu Origin gi. I love it and it was worth the wait. Thanks for introducing me to a US company that makes an awesome product. This was my first nice gi and plan to buy more gis from Origin in the future.

Love to see the colab with Orgin! I love my Origin gear two gi, & a rashguard. It was really pricey for me but the quality is top notch & as an American worker I am happy to pay more for quality that keeps Americans working, & brings home skilled manufacturing.
I just ordered their Everest Gi but need another, I know which I'm getting now! Also, love the pro pants, I'll never go back to traditional

I bought the black and green. Does the stitching on the knees make any real difference from not having them?

i just started and i wanna get their nano pearl def gi as my second gi ever and im not sure what size i should get, im 16, 160, and just about 5,9, could anyone give me some advice!

I went with Sizing Chart for waist and had zero issues. I'm also 80 percent legs and no issues with pro pants.

How do you wash your gis to make them last 2+ years? Mine accumulate gym stench in about 6 months or so and need to be rotated out. Love the Origin gis though, even if they are hard on the budget.

I have the exact same issue with gi fitting. That's why I tend to gravitate towards nogi

Man nice product. Wish I had the money to support you but unfortunately I only budget myself 185 dollars for 3 gis a year( and yes I train rough and actually need that many)
