A bird was building a nest under our roof of the back patio, and we left it alone even tho she a mess around the corner of the walls with what seemed like mud. Anyway we didnt mess with it, once she was done she laid her eggs. We watched the whole process, and it was pretty cool watching both of the parents feed the chicks after they hatched. They both flew away anytime we came outside but after a while they got used to us and didnt mind us. Once the chick's got big enough they all flew away. We left the nest alone and after a while the bird came back and laid eggs again. This time when the eggs hatched, moma bird came a few times to feed them and we noticed she never came back. After a few days noticed billions of bird flees had infested the nest as my roof and walls was covered by them. I took a ladder and saw all the chick's were dead, completely dried out. Apparently moma bird got bird flees on her and infested the nested when she came to feed them. Man it took forever to get rid of the fleas as my whole patio was infested just in a few days..

Like other animal parents, birds should take precautions when building the nests. This silly mother surely missed out an ant colony nearby. Thus the gruesome end for her hatch.
Ants don't eat animals and insects like predators instantly. Their priority is to bite them constantly till they're tired. And from being tired and very stressed, they die. Then they start with taking them into their nest. That's how ants were and always were. Birds aren't that smart to know where the ant nest is. They build somewhere where it's safe.

bird watching cameras tend to work automatic, they are just placed near the nest and they record by themselves when the sensors detect movement, from what I've read some cameras can stream the footage to another device, but usually there isn't any person near it (otherwise that would scare the parents away), and by the time they notice it, it's usually too late.
The time I suffered an infestation of bed bugs I felt almost the same agony as these poor little things. I couldn't sleep a wink due to all the itchy bites from those horrible creatures. I tried changing position to go sleep on the settee but the bugs were there too. Anything invading your peaceful existence is devil-sent.

The time I suffered an infestation of bed bugs I felt almost the same agony as these poor little things. I couldn't sleep a wink due to all the itchy bites from those horrible creatures. I tried changing position to go sleep on the settee but the bugs were there too. Anything invading your peaceful existence is devil-sent.
