Thank you, but you did not say whether there is the danger of the damage to the plastic pulley. Anyhow, after watching some of your videos I went out to get another carburettor of better quality, and fitted it myself. I was not satisfied with what the mechanic did, earlier.
@@marksole9534 Plastic pulleys are not as strong as the metal pulley...That's all...but it still doesn't change anything I stated out earlier...

Hello Mr. Gideon,
Please educate me. I recently changed the carburettor of my petrol generator. The mechanic I hired noticed that I had a nylon starter rope. He advised that I change it because it will cause the plastic recoil pulley to break. May I know if this is true. The nylon rope was fitted about 3 years ago and no breakage has occurred all this while.

My generator engine high by its self. I have set the governor it wont work, it's not working well at all. What should I do. Am suspecting d flywheel
If you have done everything including reducing the speed then the governor inside couple be faulty...
It may need repair or replacement
Is it advisable to use Tv guard on a 3kva generator that has AVR?
Well.... That now depends on you.. Personally i don't,the generator already have a regulated output voltage
